Well, one of our favorite things to do is to find a conch, take it out of the water, turn it over and watch as it's little eyeballs emerge from it mucous-like body. It then will slowly emerge from it's shell with it's one "flipper" like appendage.....and quicker than the blink of an eye, turn itself over again! It's a kid activity......they LOVE it!!
My dad lives in Clearwater Beach so we are there enough that we can call it our second home. He lives right on the beach and this is where we go when we don't want to do anything! he keeps us well fed and there's always plenty of refreshments to cool us off while lounging on the beach (usually daquiris)!
I am a sucker for tropical flowers, especially hibiscus. I go take as many pictures as I can....then never do anything with them. Well, now I'm doing something with at least one of them!
Around my dad's condo, there are plenty of creatures lurking in the lush foliage. Ethan loves to look for frogs and geckos. He can usually find them, too!
