Ocean Landings Resort Cocoa Beach

worst security ever!

My family vacation started with a teenage kid doing doughnuts in the parking lot, he just about hit my son and did hit my husband with his car with my husband on foot. The resort did absolutley nothing about this. We were paid a visit from the "Warlocks MC Gang" and let me just tell you, this caused us to leave our trip 3 days early. Security here is a joke, while this resort is a value as far as the price but the lives of my family is worth more than any savings I received by staying here. I will never again visit Cocoa Beach, and especially this resort due to their lack of safety for their guests. The motorcycle gang was allowed full access and was allowed to come to our room even though they were not guests of the resort. I would not recommend this resort to my dog, and hope no other humans ever grace this place either. The staff was horribly rude, everyone made us feel like we were inconviencing them, just to get clean towels. The resort was very dated, needs to be updated in a bad way, beds very uncomfortable, there is no kitchen, just an electric skillet and a mini fridge. Smells very bad.

Unique Quality: ok for some of the good stuff, there are two pools, tennis courts, racquetball courts, basketball, many grills for cooking out, and a community kitchen. If you don't mind not having a kitchen in your room then the community kitchen is not bad. There is a restaurant on site as well as a night club. I really wanted to love this place, but due to the security, or shall I say the lack their of, I will never go back.
