Chit-o Bleau
This was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever witnessed. A room was booked through Hotels.com for a price $119.00. When we got to the hotel, the individual at the desk stated that a room was never booked and wanted to charge us $154.00 for a different room. We provided a confirmation number and evidence that the room was already charged, it was to no avail. Another employee overheard the conversation and checked the computer and found our reservation. The first employee was still adamant that we didn't book the room and would be charged $154.00, but provided an upgrade.
We decided to settle due to the fact that we had places to be. When we arrived to the room, however, the tv was not working, the alarm wouldn't set, the floor had stains all over, we had a coffee maker without a coffee pot, and the word 'hot' water doesn't exist! If this was an upgrade, than I would definitely not want to see what a standard room looked like!
The next day, we talked to a manager being we would not get much accomplished from the individual at the front desk. After expressing our frustration in regards to their customer service and horrible room, the manager was very apologetic, however, not very accomadating. He stated that we must have been placed in a room that was not yet "remodeled" and shouldn't have been there in the first place. WHAT??????? We made it very clear that it would not be fair to charge us the full price of the room. After all is said and done, we were charged the$119.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless it is your last option!!!! What people say in the other reviews is pretty much what is expected.
