Fillet-O-Fish is Daytona's Best Dish
by Grundlestiltzkin about McDonald's
Although the famed arches are not truly made of gold, you will feel like you struck gold when you set foot inside this beacon of hope for seafood lovers. The windows are large, letting in plenty of light, which allows you to take in all of the visual splendor that this establishment offers. From the brown/orange tiles that hide dirt like a teenage boy hides his pornos from his mother to the sophisticated block lettering on the menu board behind the particle board counter, this establishment spoils your eyes and your soul. The menu comes alive with spectacular backlighting, and the vast selection of different delights suggests that the culinary genius behind them barely has time to cook between his worldly excursions to discover new foods to which to add the “Mc” moniker. This international seal of tasty goodness has been applied to some of the best foods in the world, from the McSalad-Shaker to the McGriddle. In short, this place blows the McDoors off of Long John Silvers, and wipes the McFloor with Captain D’s. If you are looking for great seafood and a whole lot more, this is the place. At only 20.5 grams of fat, you'll be glad you can eat almost four of these delectable gems before going into anaphylactic shock. That’s right, I’m talking about the Filet-O-Fish. Only the freshest of frozen “white fish” makes it into these perfect patties, crusted with the perfect amount of batter and fried to a perfect golden-brown. It’s no wonder I’ve never heard of white fish, because if McDonald’s let the whereabouts of these heavenly creatures get discovered, Filet-heads everywhere would certainly fish them out of existence. I often dream of sitting on the back of my boat with some kind of deep-frying gun and zapping the fish in mid-air as the jump straight from the ocean into my eager mouth, one after one until my stretch marks have stretch marks. Even the local fisherman forgo their day’s catch to partake of this, one of God’s greatest works. So, while your in the “Sport Fishing Capital of the World” – Florida – leave the fishing for just that . . . sport. The good eating fish is right down the street at the Golden Arches.

"Living in Daytona"
Well, Daytona is defenitely different than New York! Generally, the people are friendly, the drivers are less aggressive, but the pizza sucks! But, I do enjoy living here, Im near the beach, close to the speedway, Orlando, and the airports. There literally is always something to do. My fiance and I try and do lots of things on the weekend. We walk on the beach at night, go to the boardwalk, or just swim in the ocean. You can go parasailing, rent a scooter (see my pics!), they have great little beachside bars with live bands. You can take a tour of the Speedway, even drive a race car! There are lots of schools in the area, so there are lots of students here! Spring Break and Bike Week are fun events here in Daytona. For great clubs, we go to Orlando at Universal Studios City Walk. It's a mini theme park of clubs, restaurants, and bars. Lots of fun going with a group, or just as a couple! So, there are lots to do here in Daytona! If you are visiting, let me know, we would love to meet you!
"Debary, Florida"
Just 30 minutes from Daytona, it's a small little town. We have family that lives there, so we visit quite often. It's a residential community, many senior citizens. Lots of stores, just like any other town. There is a beautiful park run by the town of Debary. There are many natural springs that come from the ground, and there's a resevoir where salt meets fresh water. There have also been alligator spottings there as well, and peacocks roam freely. There is a childrens playground and a dog park as well. It's a beatiful park to go to for a picnic. They patrol regularly for alligators though, so no worries!
"Flora of Florida"
Here is a beautiful pic of a vine flower growing from a tree. No idea what the flower is called, but there are beautiful wild flowers like these growing all over Florida.

We just traveled 26 hours to get to Daytona Beach, Florida. We all had so much fun. This is my mom. My mom, Amy, Aviroanna, Amanda, David, Kyle and I suggest that you walk the beach. It is so relaxing. the water rushing up the sandy beach is such a great release of all stress.
