IMPORTANT please help!

by confused5

Do you know what these following things are in DB? I know they're on the boardwalk (I think) but i dont know what they are or what they have in them to do. These are the following things im talking about. Could you please help me out?????

The Joyland Amusement Center

Future Amusement

Midway Fun Center

I've looked these up on google and all but I can't figure out what they are. So what are these places, and what do they have to do at them? Thanx.

I think that they are all arcades with video games.

These are all on the boardwalk.

Most were just torn down in January 2007 to make room for new hotels/condos. Daytona is trying to get rid of the honkytonk shops in that area and this was the second block to go. It was arcades, etc. and the owner finally gave in and sold. Every Sunday the paper in Daytona has a article in the real estate section on condominiums under development. The whole area is changing and they are also pushing the bikers out of Daytona (city proper)_

Travel Tips for Daytona Beach

You can drive on the beach . . .

by sarahjayn

. . . but I don't see why people do. I mean, it just seems like a good way to *** up a perfectly good beach. Can't you park and, I dunno, walk to the beach?
Americans are allergic to walking - or excercise in any way, shape, or form, but this is rediculous. My ex-boyfriend MADE me drive on the beach one day, and my car got stuck. (Uh, it's wet sand . . . I could have predicted that.) It was an unpleasant event all together.

Don't Miss Great Seafood!

by tatyanap about Shells

It is across from the beach. Delicious seafood dishes! Great service! Generous portions!

Although the building looks shabby, don't be fooled by the appearance. You will find great food inside. Crab cakes will simply melt in your mouth!

A Day at Daytona Beach (3)

by Carnation

.
During the high season it gets very busy with all sorts of activities such as swimming and sunbathing, surfing, frisbee, sandcastle building, volleyball, jogging, cycling, kite flying, riding floats or motorbikes, sailing, jet skiing, skim boarding, fishing, sail boarding, enjoying free concerts or just taking romantic walks on the beach at night watching the sunset.

Okay, well I sort of live here.

by bosephus

I lived here from 1988 to 1997, and I really haven't been back since. My parents live here still, and because I'm otherwise technically homeless, I tell people that this is where I currently live.

It ain't a bad town, if you don't mind the slower pace of life that surrounds Florida beach front communities that aren't Miami. Nice weather, a nice beach, and an easy way of life. It's nice to take a bike and ride north along the beach into Flagler county.

One day, I suppose, I'll add more to this...

"The Bandshell"

Before we went to Daytona beach the things we knew about it was the racing and the fact that you're allowed to drive on the beach. When we arrived we didn't go on the
beach with the car but parked it near a school where the kids we're just receiving their diploma's. We walked to the beach and walked around the arcades, souvenir and snack shops.

The Beach area consists of seven cities and towns, Daytona beach has about 65,000 inhabitants.

You can also find the tallest lighthouse in Florida which is located at the southern of the Daytona Beach area in Ponce Inlet.
