thongs

I was wondering can you were thong swimsuits at Daytona , or any other beach near orlando

RE: thongs

I dont know about daytona beach, but i would say yes. I know that several years ago some cities in florida tried to outlaw them. I dont think it worked, because I have seen them on every beach I have been to. And I wish that i had not seen some..lol.

As I understand it, the thong controversy was about stopping people wearing thongs as streetwear. I mean, come on, what kind of socially arrested person wears a thong to a restaurant or to do a bit of shopping? But some did, and the locals weren't happy.
As long as you aren't exposing naughty bits you will be OK at the beach.

Yes you can! Though there was a ban on them on the streets. The Hotels and Beach areas are fine to wear them, as I wear them there also, when I am there.

Skimpy Enough for You Now?

Here we see a few gals showing how to wear those "Chaps" I was talking about.

For those of you who doubt the utility of Chaps, allow me to explain their function:

Pretend that these women are wearing blue jeans (or any type of real clothing) under their leather chaps. The function of chaps is to protect one's legs from the pounding wind and elements, while riding.

The reason the seat part is cut out, is because one's bottom is mostly protected (even getting a little hot - from the bike of course) while riding, so leather across the rump is superfluous.

It's mostly necessary to protect the legs while riding, and it does a good job of doing that. You'd be surprised at how chilled your appendages can get when evening comes along and it's just you against the Wind.

I CAN'T REMEMBER THE ACTUAL NAME OF THIS PLACE BUT AS YOU CAN SEE IT HAS A RACE THEME BUT SO DO A DOZEN OTHERS ALONG THE BEACH
FAMILY TYPE SETTING, SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE TO SEE. KIDS LOVE LOOKING AT ALL THE RACING PICS. PRICES ARE MODERATE FROM $5.00 TO $30.00 DEPENDING ON HOW HUNGRY YOU ARE. BELIEVE ME YOU WILL BE HUNGRAY AFTER A DAY AT THE BEACH BURGERS AND BEER ARE THE MAINSTAY OF BEACH DWELLERS BUT THE MENU HAS ALMOST ANYTHING YOU WOULD WANT FROM BURGERS TO SEAFOOD

Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach has a population of about 70,000, but the beaches, bike weeks, and racing draw some eight million visitors each year. The sand at Daytona Beach is hard packed and suitable for driving cars. In fact this is one of the rare beaches in the US that allows and encourages cars on the beach. Some of Daytona's earliest fame centered around auto racing on the beach, and the Daytona Beach Road Course, located on the sand, hosted races for over 50 years.

"Daytona Beach, Florida"

Took my two kids, Joshua and Noel and my nephew, Jason and Niece Tiffany to the beach on our way back from Orlando, Florida.

It was very nice. The beach was not as wide as I am used too..and I wasn't happy with the driving on the beach..but it was okay. Alot of seaweed on the beach and not many shells..but the kids had fun.

On the Daytona Beach

You must have seen these kind of pictures from the Daytona Beach earlier, but I really liked the possibility to drive a heavy car on the sand!

When doing that there please remember to drive close to the water and try to avoid the soft sand on the upper side of the beach. You might get stuck in it.
