Desert Inn: Should be condemned!

First, the hotel website does not represent what you get and be careful when reading the guest book. They do not allow negative comments to be posted on it! Overpriced for the quality provided! Paid $209 per night.

Room:put in smoking room when requested non-smoking and received confirmation of non-smoking room (have asthmatic daughters), carpet was torn/filthy; no outlets work in bedroom; food from previous guest found around room (goldfish); have portable a/c unit in bedroom that is not adequate; hotel staff tampering with food in kitchen, left half eaten donut in box, ugh!!!!!!

Hotel: parking garage leaks and is slippery; sauna does not work properly and beer bottles everywhere; steam room's steam smells old, musty and mildew (very unhealthy); most exercise equipment is broken, all is dirty; women's bathroom by pool caused my daughter to have an asthma attack due to the mildew

Unique Quality: The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They have a nice outdoor pool (chairs are old and tearing). They also have an indoor pool for when it is raining outside.
