Bonzai:
The most outstanding public display of the living art of bonsai in the southeast emphasizes a variety of species that flourish in Florida but do not grow in more temperate climates.
The term bonsai literally means 'cultivate in a tray;' but bonsai can better be defined as a tree or grouping of trees artistically shaped and cultivated in a container.
Visiting the Morikami Museum...

Visiting the Morikami Museum was a true cultural experience. The experience of seeing Japanese art, reading about its culture and taking in the exquisite scenary of its gardens was an unforgetable memory.
This is awesome.
NYC Dining in Florida
by TRimer about Gotham City Restaurant
Hidden in country club row on Jog Road between Clintmore and Linton, Gotham relies on its sophisticated décor and delicious dishes to bring in premier patrons of Boca and Delray. Cushiony high-backed booths blanketed with designer fabrics, an intimate lighting concept with flickering candelabras and bulbous chandeliers, and a fabulous neo-classical Gothic design are the trademarks of the New York-style restaurant and bar. At 10pm, the restaurant turns into a supper club with live music and dancing. The menu at Gotham is quite impressive - with seafood, kobe beef and pasta dishes. The meats are flown in from the “Stockyards of Chicago”. The dessert is wonderful with Prebica coffee served in personal French Press Pots with 4 varieties of European syrup indulgences for your flavor enhancement. The coffee is accompanied by white and dark chocolate shavings, just whipped cream, and candied citrus.
Better Mexican fast food than Taco Bell
by panthur about Roberto's Taco Shop
Ok, so the decor isn't exceptional- it's not dingy either. You can get any number of delicious, fast, mexican treats, including jarritos and even breakfast stuff. They also have helados. Super tasty, cheap, and you choice of some homemade salsas. Carne Asada Chimichanga... They have the best carne asada stuff.. real peices of tender steak, not shredded...

"Downtown Delray Beach"
Delray Beach is located on the East coast of Florida about 5 miles south of West Palm Beach and 30 miles North of Miami.
AIA and Atlantic Avenue are the main streets in Delray as AIA is the scenic drive if traveling North, South through the state.
Delray Beach has many wonderful shops, restaurants and better yet is minutes by foot fom the ocean.
At night, the town is packed as people come to hang out and eat or listen to music. Of course, October through May are the best times to visit Florida. Any other times the heat is oppressive.
"Street Scene"
A glimpse of the main drag in Delray Beach which is Atlantic Avenue. This street stretches for 2 or more miles and is lined with various shops and restaurants.
A tennis complex is also on the street and the Williams sisters, Venus & Syreena often play and or give lessons here.
"Housing"
Many condo complexes exist on the fringes of the downtown area and on the main beach road, A1A. Prices vary from $200,000 to $800,000.00
