 This has got to have been one of the worst facilities I have ever encountered. The write up through the agency we booked the room for was very misleading and representative about the hotel.

The address is 98 East, since we knew the area we were aware that 98 East is on the beach side of the highway. The write up did say that it was across the street from the beach, but not that it was across the highway from the beach. We were lead to believe that there must have been a smaller road that separated the hotel from the beach. To obtain access to the beach you have to walk a very long route, not the short stretch mentioned on their write up.

Cleaning Service – this is non-existent in their policies. Not only do they not provide cleaning service within their rates but they do not disclose this policy either. We found out during our second day after spending the day out and about, then coming back to find the room unmade. I contacted the front desk and was informed that for an additional $37/day we could have our room cleaned. Not only is $37/an outrageous amount almost ½ of their normal night rate but they fail to inform you. I then requested clean towels and coffee for the coffee machine and was again informed NO!!! We would have to pay to get the supplies.

Not once in speaking with these individuals were we treated with any customer service. Not even at the point of check in were we spoken to in a civilized tongue but we were unabashed and really just wanted to enjoy ourselves and not get into a disagreement with some very disagreeable individuals. After all, maybe their mood would change. It did not, they were rude, degrading, most discourteous. I can honestly say that it very much a hostile situation every time we conversed with these individuals.

At one point during our 2 night stay we attempted to address some of the inconsistencies and problems we were encountering. Without batting an eye, our introduction to the issues was cut off and we were told that since we had booked the rooms through a third party agency….. “They (the staff/club) were no longer in the equation” if we had a problem we had to speak to the agency.

There are numerous less consequential items that I could write about, but I will only keep to the highlights.

The one last item is that we were booked for 4 days and left after 2. It was too stressful and unbearable during a time when we were looking for relaxation. Our third party booking agency has since got involved and their initial conversations with this establishment have left them very much shocked and appalled at the complete lack of customer service we received and the lashing the agency received when they attempted to speak to the personnel!!!! And, most of our problems have been verified as not having been in their listing and much of the data should have been to accurately represent the facility.
