ITS A DUMP!!!
Gulf Winds East #23 is a COMPLETE DUMP!!! Everyone else we went down with staying there IN THE VERY SAME COMPLEX had an absolute palace compared to our place. The dryer was broken, there was a big chunk of the kitchen formica countertop missing, the screen sliding door to the master bedroom's porch was laying on the deck, the deck chairs so cheap and old one collapsed the instant my slim husband sat in it within minutes of arrival (his bad knee being aggravated!), the upper decks stained black with mildew, the furniture and bedroom decor unacceptably and visibly worn by anyone's standards being dingy and at least 25 years old, obviously visibly worn carpet areas, stained area rugs fit for the trash, bed linens that were near disintegration- including the pillows- mattresses that sounded and felt like they would collapse at any moment, light bulbs missing from fixtures, the most deafening dishwasher I'd ever experienced....everything was painfully outdated, worn, and older than dirt. I could go on and on....we were far too upset to even complain- we didn't want to focus on how we'd been screwed any more than we had to- or argue with anyone about no refunds or having seen pictures in advance!!!! How could that condo possibly be the exact same price to rent as the nicely kept, decorated and updated ones my sister, brother, and mother stayed in a few doors away --at the very same complex??? Be wary of staying here in general as another reviewer got switched to this condo on arrival- which is part of the contract.
