Various: Book your next vacation with ResortQuest

My family is from the Destin area and THE company we all use to book our vacations is ResortQuest. They have the majority of condo's are hotels in the area and are the most knowledgeable.

My favorite way to use ResortQuest is to find a nice condo on the beach and have everyone stay in one condo. The last two times we did it we got a beautiful 3 or 4 bedroom condo on the beach with it kitchen and washer and dryer etc. Most of these places also have a free DVD kiosk downstairs, pool, gym etc as well as direct beach access. Regular priced hotel rooms are also available.

Call 1-888-864-6786 and use the booking code RE032 to receive a 15% discount.

*Discounts exclude spring break and holidays (Memorial Day & 4th of July are excluded.) This discount cannot be combined with other discounts or offers. Not valid for monthly or wholesale reservations.

Amazing views, private beach access, washer dryers, full kitchen etc if you want it.

ResortQuest Tops'l Resort-Summit: I've had better service in fast food joints

The amenities and facilities were pretty good but the service was bad enough to drag the entire place down. I'll share just one example and then move on... at the fitness center, everyone is walking around with towels. I ask for one and the guy behind the desk says, "We don't have towels". I tell him that everyone seems to have them and he responds, "Oh, we must be out". Great. Are you going to get more? Probably not. %$#%#Q%# There are many more examples but just suffice it to say that this experience was repeated many different times in many different formats through out the week.

Bed and Breakfast Italian Style: The Pensione

This is a charming little guesthouse for those who do not need nor want to rent a cottage and who want the feeling of an upscale European pensione. Each room has a Gulf view. Complimentary breakfast is included in the price.

Destin West Beach and Bay Resort: The only place to stay in Destin

I would highly recommend this Resort.
On the beach side walk out the door, across the walkover and you are on the beach. Walk down the beach and you are at the Gulfarium, where you can see Dolphins and Sea lions perform, or at the fishing pier where you can see sharks and sea turtles then go over to the Boardwalk which has numerous restaurants and shops. All of this walking distance from the condo.
Or you can opt to stay accross the street at the bayside with a view of the bay and the tropical pool area which includes a lazy river. If you plan to rent one of these condos you can go to Destin West's website or you can rent directly from the owners. Go to the VRBO website (Vacation Rental By Owner) and type in Destin West Beach and Bay Resort in the search. You can see pictures and read about each individual condo to decide what you would like.... 1 or 2 bedrooms(all condos include a bunkroom and most have a sleeper sofa), The Decor and Balcony Views. You can look at the prices and dates available then call the owners from the phone numbers provided. It was very easy.
If you have big family or are going to share it with another family it is a great price. They are more expensive during their "peak time" which is between the first of June to the middle of Aug. They can run anywhere between $140-$300 a night. There is a discount if you rent for the whole week. We stayed in a peak time for $1300 from Sunday to Saturday which averages $185 a night. We could not get a hotel for 5 people on the beach with washer/ dryer, kitchen and all of the pool access for that amount.
A cleaning fee is included in the fee or added on. It is $40 to $75. There is no maid service during your stay. The cleaning service cleans when you leave for the next occupants. The VRBO website will give you all the information you need to choose which condo is best for you.
I know you will enjoy your stay.

At this Resort there is a total of 4 pools one with a waterfall, two children pools plus a splash garden where water is spraying and splashing out of tubes and up from the ground in small fountains, with a tower that dumps water out every few minutes. It is great for the little ones, 3 hot tubs and a lazy river with free innertubes available. You enter the lazy river by way of a big pool that starts out at ankle deep and gradually deepens to the river depth of 3 ft. This gradual pool is perfect for little ones who like to sit in the shallow water and splash. At night the lazy river is lit up with different color lights which is surrounded by palm trees for a truly tropical feel.
Beachside offers the gigantic pool, splash garden, hot tub and childs pool plus you are walking distance to the fishing pier where you can fish for $6.50 all day, Gulfarium and Boardwalk.
Bay side offers the lazy river with gradual entry, waterfall pool, two regular pools and two more hot tubs.
Each condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen (plates, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, cooking pans) oven, microwave, can opener, toaster, blender, refrigerator with icemaker. This saves alot of money. Buy what you need to make breakfast and lunches, spend the day at the beach and pools, come in and eat lunch and go right back out.
The condos also have a washer and dryer, Throw the swimsuits in the dryer after a day of swimming when you're ready to go back out...dry swimsuits. You know what it is like trying to put back on a wet, cold swimsuit. Well not at this condo.
There is also an ample supply of towels. An initial supply of toilet paper, soap and trash bags. If you need more you have to purchase them. Plus, you need to bring your own washing detergent. One of our girls is very sensitive, so it was fine with us.
It doesn't matter which side you stay on beach or bay, you have access to both sides and all their amenities.

Caribbean Dunes: Crystal Beach is the Best

This condo is great!! We had 12 people going this year so we booked rooms next to each other. The rooms were beautifully furnished. Very nice. We booked at southern resorts. They have a virtual tour of the room if you want to check it out. It is room # 210. The beach is only a short walk across the not so busy 2 lane road. If you are looking for somewhere nice to stay that is not so expensive then you should check it out. And the Crystal Beach area is awesome. The little cottages that line the streets are lovely. It is also very close to everything in Destin

They have a great pool with bbq grills and also located in the pool area is a room that you can gather in with tables in it to eat as well. with a big croud like we had we used it one night to eat hotdogs and hang out by the pool.

Located along white, sandy beaches perfect for the family vacation or quiet gateway. Off season $65/ night.

much as half.
October to May prices are lower.

Crystal Villa's the 'Cancun'. ...

Crystal Villa's, the 'Cancun'. This place sleeps ten, or if you're like us, 15 or more! PLENTY of room to go around! Prices vary according to seasons. Remeber that the prices are for 10 or more people. So, unless you have freeloaders as friends, splitting makes this place SUPER cheap! So here they are:

1st week in March through the 3rd week in May = $184 DAILY (3 day minimum)

4th week of May through the 1st week of Sept = 296/daily HIGH SEASON! STAY AWAY!

2nd week of Sept. through Dec. 31st =
$161/daily (3 night minimum)

You can e-mail them at:

This place has great rooms on the beach, a fully stocked kitchen, BBQ pits, close stores and restaurants, plenty of gorgeous beaches, and close nightlife! What else can you ask for?

We've been the last two years and this August will be our 3rd we've always stayed at the SunDestin and couldn't say enough good things about it.
Great Location, Great Costumer Service, and have been very helpful in making our vacations in Destin perfect.
I think in August when we stay it's between 175.00 to 200.00 a night, but we stay in a very nice Condo

We stayed at a house in...

We stayed at a house in Crystal Beach that we rented directly from the owner. I don't know if they will print this but we found the place through
$80/night for a 3BR/3BA house with a heated pool. We still got winter rates!!

Close to the beach. Great price. Quiet neighborhood.

I stayed at the Sheraton Four...

I stayed at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel. It was ok. I would recommend the units facing the gulf. They are much nicer. The location of this hotel was perfect! Easy to get into and out of and only minutes from Destin.
Room Rate Ranges (US Dollars):
Deluxe: from a low of $85 to a high of $175
Standard: from a low of $65 to a high of $135
Suite: from a low of $120 to a high of $250

The price was good, and the hotel was being renovated when I was there. The pool area and court yard were excellent. It is well landscaped, clean and very beautiful.
