Near Koreshan State Park
I like to stay at the Hampton Inns because they have a good breakfast, free local calls and usually they also have wireless internet. You can pretty much rely on what you are going to get.
This hotel is very convenient. We got to the hotel about 4:45 after we had been to Corkscrew Swamp and the Estero State Park. The next morning we went out to Sanibel Island to photograph the lighthouse.
I wanted to print out a list of lighthouses, but there was someone in the business center using that computer, so the girls at the desk printed out my list for me (14 pages), and also gave us really good directions to Sanibel Island and how to continue on afterward.
Unique Quality: We had a non-smoking room with 2 queen-size beds, a comfortable work desk and rolling desk chair with adjustable height. The bathroom had a tub & shower combo and a curved shower rod that allows more light and space in the shower. There was a cute little towel animal on the side of the tub holding the soap. There was a 25 inch color television, an alarm clock/radio, personal coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, luggage rack, microwave and refrigerator. We used the coffee maker to make cocoa as we don't drink coffee. I logged on to the internet without a problem. There was a good breakfast the next morning.
