the topaz is a historic motel located on flagler beach. the topaz has typical florida motel rooms and a small pool. across the street from the topaz is a private beach access. in the lobby of the topaz is an interesting collection of antiques and behind the motel is a garage with anitique cars. the topaz is also home to the blue restaurant which is quite good. a great place to relax and get away from the crowds at florida's more popular beaches. the rooms are spartan but clean. if you are looking for a luxury beach resort the topaz is not for you but if you are looking for moderately priced lodging in a relaxed old florida atmosphere the topaz is a great place to stay.
Directions: about 1/8 mile south of the flagler pier on US A1A.
