Gators in the Everglades
We had planned to bum around Florida and end up wherever the car took us. We got an idea to drive to the Keys; basically I have never been before and wanted to go.een the Keys many times before but wanted me to see them for myself.
So we hopped in our rental car and headed south. We stoped in Florida City basically because we saw a sign for a Visitor's Center. The stop proved to be a good one; we got plenty of maps, info on attractions and a clean bathroom.
We already went twice in the Everglades. The first time crossing the Park by the 75 (Everglades Parkway). The second time going to Shark Valley by the 41.
For the 3rd time we chose to discover the South part of the park by the 9336.
The best place to stay seemed to be the litle town of Florida City, near Homestead.
