While in Ft Lauderdale, why not travel towards the West side of things and hop on an airboat tour. The everglades are slowly disappearing as we develop Ft Lauderdale more and more. This is something that shouldn't be missed. There are several places that offer airboat tours. Most of them are around $15 for an hour or so. The boats can be quite loud, so sit in the front for the least amount of noice.
