I would suggest checking out Las Olas Blvd... There is upscale shopping and dining as well as some more casual dining.
Ok, this picture is of the view at the smoking area. Umm...my office back in Cleveland doesn't have nearly as nice of a view! And my construction site in Detroit...well I get to look at huge cranes!!! I kept going down for smokes just for the view!

This building has a very unique look, modern yet erie ruined only by the name. I am one that is against selling the name of sports buildings for money. It just somehow takes away some of the charm of the sport.
Dual sided dance club with 70's disco on one side and more modern progressive stuff on the other, it doubles as a Martini bar with tasty coctails like the Sour Apple at $10.75 a pop. A bit expensive, but good fun. Nice but not super picky unless it's crowded when doorman are more selective.
A super attentive staff keeps on top of hordes trying to get a table and/or bar space in this local favorite. Sports on television, dance floor and music, inside and ocean view seating outside: this place has something for everyone and all ages. Nachos! The plate is piled high, comes hot from the kitchen and goes well with everything from water to one of the many mixed drinks the restaurant features. All the portions here are huge!
Had to wait for a table but enjoyed a beer at the bar during the wait. It's not a big place but you can eat on a patio outside if you wish to enjoy the warm nights. Pizza! Wonderful thin crust pizza, which is what I love. Though the Rosemary Chicken pizza could have used a touch less rosemary. But it was still awesome.
