I had looked all over the internet and the cheapest place I could find that had spaces in the Ft. Myers Naples area was the Quality Inn which was $102 plus tax. We checked in about 5. The hotel had a nice pool (which I didn't get to use), and also free wireless internet. We thought about going out to dinner but decided to eat at the hotel.
They did NOT however have a free breakfast. The muffins that were out when we arrived had disappeared by breakfast time.
Unique Quality: One of the best things about this hotel was that it was so close to the Edison Ford summer homes. We were there right when they opened and thus save ourselves a lot of time and aggravation. Also 1 mile from Harborside Convention Hall or Red Sox Stadium & 20 miles from beach.
This is one of the Choice Hotels, but unfortunately I didn't join that until after I stayed here. You get about every 10th stay free.

A: "i have family in Cape Coral that I have visited,and if nothing new hs change, there is no public transport,need to rent a car or a shuttle/taxi hope it helps"
