Best Western Beach Resort: W Florida Beach Hotel

A very typical beach hotel. It has no restaurant but there are a good number of them in the neighbourhood. Each room has a good size kitchen equiped with microwave cooker and many local fast food outlets offer delivery service to the room. General stores for food and drink are all within a short walk on the oposite side of the street.

Hampton Inn: Hampton Inn Summerlin Road

The hotel is one of two Hampton Inns in Fort Myers and is the one closer to Sanibel and Captiva. It is located along a side street off Summerlin Road. Since its pretty far from just about anything, its not the place to stay if you don't have a car. But, if you do, you'll probably find the rates here to be cheaper than in Sanibel, which is only about 15 minutes away.

This is a new hotel and a very well kept one. The hotel has suites with a living room and full kitchen- a nice plus for those who want to cook their own meals and not a bad option as there aren't any great restaurants nearby. The hotel also has a pool and serves breakfast, which is included in the room rate.
