Just Relax

Life on Fort Myers Beach is ultra-relaxed and informal. Unless you particularly want to, there's no need to change out of your shorts for dinner... in fact shorts are normal attire for almost every activity.
I am naturally a fairly anxious person but the Beach is one place I manage to completely switch off. Everything you could possibly need is on the doorstep, the pace of life is slow and the people are friendly and helpful.
So just sit back and enjoy the natural beauty all around you.

These two kids were having big fun skim boarding on the calm waters of the gulf. The tide was perfect for boarding and smooth as glass. The sun was setting so they were trying to get as much time in as they could before dark.
Entertainers on the Square

This was a rather interesting entertainer, he covered himself in a copper colored suit, painted his skin the same color and sat on a moped until someone came by to look closer at him and then he would move, startle the person, kinda funny really. But you would pay him a tip if you liked his form of entertainment or if you took a photo which is only fair. Support the local artist.

"This was my working vacation"
I was able to spend a lot of time on this beach between gigs. I was only required to work the weekends so I was able to spend the weekdays on FT Myers Beach.
Normally I would be holed up in my hotel room catching up on sleep that is due to me, but since the beach was only 15 minutes away from my hotel, why waste a good beach?
This is my darling Fred on a mound of the most softest white sand beach on this side of Florida.
