Whether or not the Gators are playing, a stop at the Swamp is a must. The gates are open most days and you can usually see a handful of students running the stadium steps, studying, or just working on a tan.
You're not supposed to play on the grass, but it's fun to do, anyways...
the harn museum of art is located on the university of florida campus. this museum has collections of african, mesoamerican, asian and modern art. a very good collection for a town the size of gainesville.
Mary and Peter Gregory created this haven for old, abused and abandoned horses in 1984.
Mill Creek Farm gives them the chance to live their last years in peace and tranquility.
