It varies a lot. Like yesterday it was about 80 degrees but today was 90 degrees and its expected to get even warmer this weekend. By the end of may, it gets quite warm (around 80-90 degrees) but it's never humid. It's rather pleasant.

I agree! The weather varies from day to day, unless we're having a heat wave. So, check on-line before leaving so you wont be caught unprepared.
Travel Tips for Hollywood

Always bring a collapsible bag inside of your regular bag so that you can bring goodies from your travels home w/out needing to buy another one :) Sandals are a must!
Though the weather is usually warm, and the appropriate attire is important, bring a windbreaker or light sweater for those nights when the temperature drips a bit - otherwise you'll be quite uncomfortable :) You can buy everything you need here - but dont' forget the sunscreen - I'm fair and was lucky to only get a little pink, and quite brown (for me at least) through my SPF 50. If I hadn't been wearing the sunscreen I'd have ended up on a local burn unit! Cameras are always important! Film, or digital, that's your call - but for catching the wonderful birds and other animal life - telephoto is needed.
