I was happy to stay here when given the opportunity to do so. It is owned by Seminole Tribe of Florida who to this day have not signed a treaty with the USA
They are prospering that is for sure
the hotel and casino is large and for any fan of rock music is filled with memorabilia of the various rock stars local and foreign

Just one word: Amazing!
This hotel is really great one! Wonderful Rooms, Baths, Bed and Sound (yes! A bose sound in your room and what to hear? The Hotel Key comes with a great CD!)
Unique Quality: Great Hotel ! The only remark point is the Wireless Internet Connection that could be better in all rooms.

The Hotel is new and very expensive. Don't waste your time or money in this Casino. They use nothing but those cheating pile of crap auto shuffler machines on the lower limit black jack tables. I have gone four times and lost money all four times.
They have stacked the odds heavily against you with these auto shufflers.
Also keep in mind any time you play the Indians you play a self regulated Casino. Which in my opinion is a huge house advantage. Unlike Vegas, the Indians create and apply their own policy in the casinos. Now who do you think they are looking out for? If you guessed the Indians, you are correct.
The slot machines are all controlled my some "Whopperesq" computer system that is probably always working the odds away from you.
So in my humble opinion, STAY WAY! Don't cry, I warned you. Go to Vegas, they are giving away rooms now near Freemont, or go on a cruise on NCL, Carnival, or Royal Caribbean instead. You will be able to play hand shuffled shoes in these places where you can almost make 50 - 50 odds against the house.
By the way, unlike Vegas, you also get treated to expensive drinks at $7 a pop in the hard rock. So you need to pay for your drinks just so you can give the house an added advantage. That sucks if you ask me..

the seminole hard rock hotel is located at the seminole gambling and entertainment complex. the best place to stay in hollywood if you plan to visit the casino or attend a rock concert. all of the amenities of a first class resort hotel.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is definately a hotspot to visit if you're staying in Southern Florida and want to venture out of the Ft Laud / So Beach club scene. Bringing a bit of Vegas to the Florida penninsula, this place has tons of bars and restaurants as well as a few nightclubs and quality live music. The rooms are nice and affordable on the weekdays, the weekends they get VERY pricey, almost double. The pool area is what I enjoyed the most, much nicer than the pool in Hard Rock Vegas- now if they could only get a Rehab going here!

the seminole hard rock casino is located about 3 miles west of downtown hollywood. the casino offers black jack, poker, bingo, and slot machines. for those interested in gambling and rock concerts this huge entertainment complex is worth a visit when in hollywood.
We made reservations for a saturday and sunday night to get away from the storms. we found our room to be very comfortable and relaxing. after we rested , we went downstairs for the buffet. One of the waiters went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. we wish we had gotten his name because he deserves some credit. we gambled after eating and then had a very restful night before heading back home. we really needed this considering we didn't know what the storm had did to our property. everything was okay, thank God. We like this place because of the variety of the games, much better than sample rd.
We stayed at the Hard Rock in August 2004. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are lovely, but our stay was not what we expected. During the week the hotel is filled with retired locals (gambling) and on the weekends the hotel is filled with kids (pool). Please be forewarned -- the hotel construction is NOT complete (of course they don't tell you or mention this anywhere). There is no golf course, no retail shops, only one nightclub (they advertised 18) and no entertainment complex. Everything is still under construction. I'm sure it will be nice when it's finished, but the concierge couldn't even give us a completion date. We paid a lot of money for nothing!
We stayed here on Oct. 31st. The best thing about the hard Rock is its awesome pool area and hot tubs. It rivals some of the pools in the carribean. We also had a nice room overlooking the pool area. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was big, with double granite vanities. We stayed here on a Sunday night, and luckily did not encounter any noisy neighbors. The casino area was kept way too cool to be comfortable-I had to wear a jacket. There was no entertainment at all, and even the "club" was closed down because of a dispute between the Seminole tribe and the management(so we were told). There was not 1 band, disc jockey, or any musical entertainment at all.
The food was decent at the Hard Rock Cafe, and the breakfast buffet at the Blue Plate Diner was fair. The retail area is still under construction. We enjoyed a short stay here, but a couple days is plenty.
Service was Poor, When at pool side, you have to go get your own drinks, They constantly harrass you about braclets that you wear to permit you in the pool, Your not aloud to take any towels up stairs even if your a young child and cold from the air conditioning in hotel and you have to have shoes and shirts on from pool to room, even if your 2 years old, and it was very hard to understand what the security guard was saying when we were not permited to go to our room without room key. Casino did not have very much to do and there was nothing for kids to do later in the day when they were finished swimming. Half of the hotel was not open. and the food was very, very expensive.
We stayed at the Hard Rock after two nights on South Beach at Lowes Hotel. The front desk staff, though limited, was very user friendly. The Hard Rock's rooms were excellent. The pool area is one of the best in Southeast Florida. We had a great cosmo at the pool bar, and a decent dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. Casino action is limited to slots and poker. Slots were not loose, but we were fortunate to hit a jackpot. The hotel amenities are upscale. The casino does not compare to Vegas, but relax and you might win a jackpot!
