On a romantic getaway from Atlanta, I chose to bring my girl to Jacksonville to take in the sun, the beach, the Florida experience. I was quite amazed at the friendliness and cleanliness of the hotel. I have stayed at a few Fairfield Inns during my life and while they are usually nice and clean with friendly staff, this location was amazing. Nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds, expanded cable on the television. Close to the freeway, and if you fly, to the airport (1 block west of the hotel). The hot tub and pool were outdoors, but with a beautiful Florida night above us, it was a great swim. The expanded continental breakfast was a great way to wake up in the morning. Waffles! In conclusion, I hope to stay there again someday. It was a great value and a great weekend. I love Jacksonville!

I was at this hotel july 4th weekend. I requested early check in, bottom floor, and extra pillows and received all with no problem. Nice pool and whirlpool, very clean and quiet. Two chairs in the room with a king bed. The vanity area is a little small, only one person can have the mirror at a time. One problem which was minor, they do not provide lotion in the room, only shampoo and conditioner (pantene). The bed was very comfortable and so was the AC, which of course you can control. No problem getting extra towels, plus there are towels at the pool for you, which are actually clean. Very convient exit doors so you don't have to go by the front desk. Out side designated smoking area. Very good breakfast, waffles (you have to make yourself, but they will help you, fruit, cerreal, jimmy dean sandwiches, coffee, juice, milk.
Very pleasant front desk personnel. Checked out express by phone (perfect). Walls are a little thin, but not too bad. I'd give it four stars.
