Football Fever

Jaguars Vs 49ers. Alltel Stadium, Jacksonville,Fl.
I watched the Opening game of the 99/00 season in what can only be described as biblical weather, with sheet rain and thunder. This didnt dampen the spirits of either the fans or the players as the atmostpheare was simply unbelivable with the Jaguars recording there bigest win ever. I would recomend a vist to the Jaguars even if your not into American Football as its a great day out. Beer and natchos
Fun place to go...

Mmmm fresh carribbean style food with flair. Fun rooftop bar to hang out at during those warm Summer nights.. Anything is great. Try the fish wrap, jerk chicken, or crabby dip...I LOVE the blackened Grouper or Mahi filet...so tasty and fresh! All food is fresh and great quality.
Actor Bill Murray's culinary Caddyshack tribute
by noidiotsplease about Murray Bros. Caddyshack
At Murray Bros. Caddyshack, lawnmower ceiling fans and a giant alligator with the movie's mischievious gopher trapped in its jaws are just a couple of the irreverent touches and memorabillia that highlight the decor of this casual "theme" restaurant.
The menu covers the gamut of favorite American fare (burgers, steak, chicken, etc.) The restaurant also has outdoor seating that overlooks the lake and observation tower at the center of the World Golf Hall of Fame complex.
The restaurant's owner, actor Bill Murray, is no stranger to Jacksonville area golf courses, so you never know when he might stop by.
Enjoy the view from a quarter mile ocean pier!
by noidiotsplease
For decades fishermen flocked to the old Jacksonville Beach Pier. After the weathered wooden pier suffered extensive damage due to the effects of a hurricane out at sea, a longer, stronger pier was recently built to replace it. While this new pier is an obvious attraction for fishermen, it's also a must see for any pedestrian with an appreciation for unique views. Walk out to the end of the pier -- one quarter of a mile out to sea -- and behold the spectacular views of ambitious surfers, the sandy coastline and the colorful highrises that line Jacksonville Beach. While the pier does not have a restaurant of its own, it is but a short walk from the many diverse culinary offerings of the Seawalk area.
