An Island Oasis

My wife and I went visited in November on a whim and booked a room at the Blue Skies Inn through the Visitor's Center when we arrived in town. It was off season (November) so the town itself wasn't extremely crowded. We stayed in the "cottage room" adjacent to the main house. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast was good, and the wine happy hour by the hot tub more then made up for the lack of a pool. (Although apparently now you have the use of a neighboring facility) The owners also had plenty of suggestions for activities and helped us set up a sunset snorkeling trip which was wonderful.

Unique Quality: The cottage room was a quaint little "shed" adjacent to the main house with a little kitchenette. Very private and wonderfully relaxing during the short time spent at the house.

Directions: Right around the corner from Duval Street at the southernmost point. It's a bit of a walk all the way up to Mallory square but didn't cause us any trouble.
