Blue Marlin Motel

ok place to rest your head while having a great time in key west.

Unique Quality: has a very nice pool. no hot tub though, and it was on their website that they have one.

Directions: 2 blocks from southern most point

We choose this motel after reading several reviews on Tripadvisor and VT.
It is a classical pink motel.
The rooms are around a square court with a pool and a parking.
We rented through internet at 88$/day tax include but I saw in a free booklet a coupon at 68$ + tax (but I prefer to know where I have to go before leaving France).

Unique Quality: We have liked :
- the size of our room. Some have kitchen (+40$ / day)
- the cleanlyness
- the fridge in the room
- to have two sinks : one in the bathroom, the other near the bath
- the outdoor pool, with deckchairs and tables under a canopy : it's a pleasure to have breakfast near the pool though it is forbiden
- a free continental breakfast (coffee, doonuts and orange juice)
- to have our car at the door of the room : I like to have the trunk at one meter of the door.

Directions: At one block of Duval, in the South part of Simonton

I stayed at the Blue Marlin on the recommendation of a family friend and I wasn't sorry. Plain and simple this place is nice and clean with a good location. You can walk to Duval street and the surrounding areas. There is a pool, but most importantly the price is very fair. This place will not rip you off.

We usually had this pool to ourselves. Beautiful pool, Clean and warm! Pretty quiet. Loved it here when we needed to cool down!

Large Room, large bathroom. Air conditioner works like a champ. Bagels, doughnuts, and coffee free in mornings. Clean room, comfortable bed, (King size). Cable TV, Clock Radio. Phone.
Large clean beautiful Pool.
Fridge, coffee pot, iron, blow dryer.
Washers & Dryers $1.25 per load.
Nice folks in office, great place to be left alone!

Unique Quality: Hotel comfort at Motel prices.
This is a great value, and felt like home to us for 10 days! We like to be left alone, no fuss. We really were happy here!
Our price was off season.

I paid about $190 US for our room, that had queen size beds.

Unique Quality: This was a really nice motel located only a block from Duval St., so we were able to walk everywhere. The rooms are spacious and clean with new carpeting, draperies and bedspreads. The room even had a mini-refridgerator which always comes in handy. All the rooms look out to the heated swimming pool which is in a courtyard setting.
It's a tad pricey considering it's a motel, but Key West is expensive!
