You are Inn Paradise!

A postcard beautiful inn nestled in the middle of the old city, two blocks from the Hemingway house. The rooms range from a single room, single with queen foldout, to cottage suite that can handle eight. The Paradise offers an extented continental breakfast of cereal, danishes, and fruit. Cable TV is in every room, and a small, but adequate swimming pool and jacuzi are on the back of the property.

Unique Quality: The inn is close to the middle of the old city, which makes every attraction within walking distance for the average fit person. It maintains the "Key West Experience" without sacrificing comfort.

It's a joy to be here, time after time!

This is the second review I give of the Paradise Inn. Just like last year we've stayed in The Paradise Inn. This is the third time we've been here and it’s a great success time after time. It’s really a paradise. I enjoy the flowers and trees that are growing in the garden. The hot tub, pool, it’s the whole atmosphere that makes me want to stay here forever. It’s close to Duval, but you can’t hear Duval. Hopefully I’ll be back soon!

Unique Quality: You can find the whole atmosphere of the Keys at The Paradise Inn.

The name says it all!

It's definitely my favourite place to stay. It has a beautiful garden, with many kinds of flowers and trees. The pool is very nice. There are enough places to site by the pool. If you like the quit serene atmosphere, than this is the place for you. They serve breakfast, which is simple, but good. You can sit outside by your room and relax. You have to try this spot, because it’s like the name says a paradise!

Unique Quality: Great pool, great location, everything is at walking distance, friendly staff, breakfast, beautiful garden, private parking.

More about Paradise Inn

Lovely honeymoon

by TripAdvisor Member Tessar

We have just spent 5 nights at the Paradise Inn, Key West for our Honeymoon. This was our second visit to this particular hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff gave us a complimentary bottle of chanpagne in order to celebrate our wedding, which was extremely kind.

The facilities are very good. Lovely pool, lovely hot tub. The grounds are well kept and very beautiful. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and very nice.

The staff are all very friendly and look after their guests very well with nice touches such as turn down service and chocolate/fresh water nightly. It is definitely our new favourite in Key West. Best wishes and thanks to the staff from Teresa & Marcus - UK

Relaxing and Great Service

by A TripAdvisor Member

We stayed 4 nights in the Gumbo Limbo suite with another couple at the end of May.

This is a great place to stay on KW. It's a very relaxing setting, and the service is excellent. The housekeepers take great care of the room and have a knack for showing up whenever you're not there...in fact I never actually saw them. Very discreet.

The staff is very friendly, and extremely helpful. They act like a concierge service, and anything you need (cabs, a snack, directions, suggestions) etc. is provided quickly and cheerfully.

The grounds are gorgeous, extremely well kept, and the pool and hot tub are relaxing and clean.

The breakfast they provide is simple but more than adequate, they have the typical continental fare, with some very nice pastries, croissants, etc. Plus if you show up hungover after it ends (10:30 a.m.) or a little tipsy at 2:00 a.m., the 24 hour staff will still give you anything you want.

Overall, this is about as nice of a place as one could expect to find, and the price is even reasonable. One note (that might be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you're looking for) is regarding the location. Although it's located on Simonton (just 1 block off Duval St.), it's not terribly close to all of the Duval hotspots. The walk to, for example, Mallory Square or some of the more popular bars/restaurants, can take half an hour or more. In the heat this can be tiring. A cab ride for 4 people to the marina or the Gulf shore area is about $10. There are still restaurants located near the hotel, but the most popular stuff is about a 1/2 mile away. In short, you are somewhat secluded from the constant partying and general bustle of Duval Street, so the Inn provides some sanctuary from that and a great place to relax. But, it you're headed out and about, bring your walking shoes or prepare to pay the exorbitant taxi fares (it was $15 to get back from the beach, and $30 each way to and from the airport). If you don't mind being just a few blocks farther from the action this is perfect, but be prepared to do a fair bit of walking.

However, we generally enjoyed the walking and wouldn't hesitate to go back to the Inn, it was great.

True Paradise!

Beautifuly decorated rooms and lush landscaping. When in the jacuzzi you feel like you are in your own tropical paradise. Very Romantic. Will definitely stay at the Paradise Inn when in Key West.

Loved Paradise Inn

by A TripAdvisor Member

We just recently stayed here for 2 nights and I was very impressed with the suite. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rate was awesome. The breakfast was very nice as well. We will definitely stay here again. The location was central enough. The only drawback was rolling our suitcases from the ferry terminal. It was a little far. So grab a cab or pack light.

Great spot in the heart of Key West

by A TripAdvisor Member

Spent a weekend at Paradise Inn, it is very well located, central but quiet. The pool area is excellent and the rooms were first class. The staff were exceptional friendly, informative and accomodating. Highly recommended.
