"KISSIMMEE - GAYLORD PALMS RESORT"

Just southwest of Walt Disney property is the touristy town of Kissimmee. While I have not spent much time here, I have driven through it at night, and, from what I remember, its main drag is lined with hotels, small roadside attractions, and touristy souvenir shops. Just a few miles or so away is the massive Gaylord Palms Resort. While I haven't stayed here I did visit once to enjoy the resort's spectacular annual Christmas celebration: "ICE," a winter wonderland of ice sculptures that you must walk through while donning a giant parka; and "Luminescence," an ultra-cool rock concert of Christmas favorites in the resort's giant atrium.
