From the day we arrived till the day we left , which was a week, we constantly had to call the company for repairs and never once did they return a phone call. We noticed a smoke detector completely removed from the ceiling in the main living area of our townhouse, a direct violation of the fire codes , not to mention we had four children in our party. After three days they finally sent out a repairman, who dropped off a 9 volt battery with a note telling us he could not find the smoke detector but the battery would stop the chirping ???? We went without any TV reception until the final day and again we had four kids to entertain while there. There were numerous other complaints we did not even voice once we discovered they would fall on deaf ears.
It was totally evident this company had no concern for us beyond the revenue they had already received. Please find another company that will be there for you when you need them...

The furnishings were adequate and sparse at best.

You won't get SARS, but you COULD get West Nile if a Mosquito bites you. Hmmm.. Splendid China doesn't cost as much as Disney or Sea World, but it also doesn't have rides and it's not that large. But there is lots of live entertainment and historcial content!
