~ Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida ~
North of Ft. Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a nostalgic Florida beach town with a fishing pier, gift shops and small motels. In fact, the small motel that my dad used to stay at when he was a child was still there, open for business, the last time I was there in 2003. I walked around the town’s pier area on one of my previous Ft. Lauderdale trips.
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is part of the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale Metropolitan Area.
