Faro Blanco is a hotel complex and two marinas. The two marinas are Faro Blanco Oceanside and Faro Blanco Bayside. I have not stayed at any of them.
I know from listening to the VHF radio that the two marinas do not communicate with each other. I would not trust that the management of the hotel was much better. I can't find any information out about the availability of rooms. I do not know if there is a hotel at Oceanside.
The restaurants are no longer in business in either place, and all that's left is Anglers Bar.
Unique Quality: The Bayside landmark is a lighthouse.
Faro Blanco is in flux at the moment. Their oceanside restaurant has closed, and so has Kelsey's which was the former fine dining restaurant on the Bayside. The only thing left is the Angler's Grill, which is upstairs over what used to be Kelsey's. We drove over to that side to see what was there, but did not go in or eat there.
This marina has slips, showers, and laundry. They do not have a pool (that is only at the Bayside facility) and they don't have a restaurant, but they are close to Burdines and Castaway
The Bayside and Oceanside facility do not talk to each other. The inset shows the Faro Blanco sign which has a white sign posted on it that says "No trailer parking" Immediately behind the sign is a boat trailer with a boat on it.
Dockside restaurant at Faro Blanco Oceanside is reported to have a pay phone with a data port. Otherwise it is the library for free, or Mailboxes Etc. for $12.00/hr.
There is now also BWISK which has an internet cafe but is also "NOW OFFERING MegaSpeed/BWISK Edition

305-743-9609 The Marathon library (305-743-5156) at MM 48.5 Oceanside, is next to the Fisherman's Hospital. You sign in at the desk and wait your turn to use the computer for a maximum of 1/2 hour (unless there is no one waiting) once a day. You can't use your own computer.
