For many years we stayed at the BOATHOUSE MOTEL,We have since purchased a Condo on the Island, however our friends and family still stay at the boathouse, the Owners are absolutly the BEST nothing is ever a problem the rooms are immaculate, the views are breath taking....THE BEST ON THE ISLAND !!!!!!!

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Boat House and what a nice experience - We stayed in Unit #1 which is one of two water front units - it was neat and clean and had daily cleaning service - the unit fronted the one of the inlets and also had a great view of the Marco RIver/Bay which was an inlet./outlet to the Gulf - the staff was very helpful and cheerful - the location of the Motel is in a quiet residential section of the island called Olde Marco - there are restaurants/bars within a short walking distance.
We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying a great cup of coffee from the Chef's Express which is just a short 1/2 block away - we watched the Pelicans catch fish, caught a glimpse of a Manatee and a couple of dolphins - if you enjoy fishing, you can, right off the deck. I watched a guest catch fish every day - I highly recommend the Boathouse - more bonuses - in some of their units they allow Pets - and they have free wireless (wiFi) internet - if you need larger accomidations they also own a couple condo units adjacent to the Motel -
my husband and I stayed for three nights at the boat house whilst touring florida. would have loved to have stayed longer, but SADLY booked up. adorable true floridian style, comfortable, affordable and with fantastic views of the waters. stayed in room no 1. highly recommended

The Boat House takes you back in time. What a nice change from large hotels. Great location- quite area - on the water- short walking distance to the best seafood restaurant on the island (Cafe de Marco.) Pool on water- so relaxing to sit outside in the evening- peaceful!!!! We were in room 16- very large - clean and comfortable. Location is great- close to Tiger Tail Beach- Also close to Marina where you can take a day trip to Key West. Loved it! Can't wait to go back.
The Boat House Motel is a wonderful establishment. This has been the most relaxing vacation my fiance and I have taken. We would watch the sunset and the boats go by from the dock right outside our door. The prices are great as well. You do not need to pay top dollar to enjoy your stay at Marco Island. We are counting the days to return to the Boat House Motel. We will definitely be lodging with them again! : )
Found this place on TripAdvisor and booked it for an overnight romantic getaway with my boyfriend. I was kind of nervous about the place because it was so cheap compared to other places on Marco Island right on the water but was very pleasantly surprised. What a steal this place is compared to other hotels on the island. Don't expect a palace or luxurious accomdations. It is a motel. BUT, it was very clean, the room was huge and the owners and guests were all very friendly. Because it was in Olde Marco, it was very quiet at night and getting into town for a night out was easy. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed stay, I would definitely recommend this place. I would definitely stay here again. Maybe rent the boathouse for a longer stay. It was cool that the motel is so good about bringing pets too.
We enjoyed our time at the Boat House. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great.
Cost -wise, it was a very good value. The location was ideal as we were visiting family nearby. We would definitely stay there again
The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean. Great views of the water and sunset, and great fishing from the docks. Close to restaurants and shopping. One of the few motels where you can interact with other guests, many of whom enjoy the motel year after year, we certainly do.
Embedded between luxury private homes and hotel I found this nice place by luck. It was listed in the "Neverlost" GPS in my rental car...
Nice rooms, perfect view to see the sun go down in the ocean.

Claudine and her staff made our stay absolutely delightful. We can't wait to return. Lovely, comfortable room with a nice pool and breathtaking sunset watching deck. Bonus: Reasonable. Extra bonus, Snook Inn Restaurant within walking distance.
