What is the best way to get from Miami International Airport to Key West? We are in our 60's and don't want to drive in an unfamiliar, busy city after flying crosscountry.
It takes about 4 hours from Miami to key west by road, so I would recomend to stay for the night in Miami and take a bus the next day, alternatively, you could look for flights from Miami to Key West, there must be domestic airlines who serve the route;

the best way is by car ..of course.. don't worry for traffic, i'm italian tourist and two yrs ago i drove along the keys for 2 weeks..fantastic
Rent a car in Miami International Airport and by 4 hrs you will arrive to key west.
have a look at the Art Deco District in South Beach, take walk down the Ocean drive, go to the beach, be sure to visit Lincoln Road Shopping District, you also shouldn't miss Coconut Grove which hosts a number of festivals and events throughout the year
See the beach--South Beach specifically If you only have 1 day, spend it in South Beach, where you can get a sun tan, take a tour of historic art deco hotels, lunch at an Ocean Drive cafe, watch a fashion shoot, shop at trendy boutiques, rub elbows with celebrities at dinner, then dance the nite away at the hottest clubs--all within the radius of a few blocks!
hispanics are the most friendly pepole i've ever met in the united states..they remind me of the egyptian pepole ,some of them have bad reputation because they harrass women..but most of them respect women and never do such disgusting behaviour..
I don't think most people realize that the Florida Everglades is very close to the city of Miami. My tour through MiamiNice.com was to Coopertown Air Boat Rides which is only 11 miles west of Florida Turnpike on U.S. 41. The airboat ride there into the Everglades was simply out of this world.
