As anyone stayed in the CLARION COLLECTION,LAS PALMAS..or HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS MIAMI SPRINGS? both in the maimi area near the airport..if so..is there "anything" like a pharmacy or shopping mall or supermarket nearby?? walking distance..

Bayside Marketplace: With over 100 shops and places to feast, this place is a must do. Spend an afternoon and wander around, or try a boat tour of the harbour. There is something for everyone here. Visit one of our many beautifull beaches. Visit 'Calle Ocho'(SW 8TH Street) and experience someof Miami's multicultural experience. I posted a picture of a very over looked beach, this is ' SouthBeach' at Crandon Park, not sobe at Miami Beach, that's the one every one visits. This South Beach is more family oriented and much less crowded.
If you just want to relax and enjoy a day at the beach without the celebrity watch, try it you'll like it. So many...I grew up here.
bring your swim suits people , Miami's South Beach is hot . Tan in the daylight hours and by night - dance till you drop ! Like I said - the city that doesn't quit . lots of great pics to take so load up with film . Florida is the SUNSHINE state so remember to bring along that sunblock !
If you want to try something that very few people outside of the US have ever tried, then make your way towards a Krispy Kreme doughnut store and sample some of the doughnuts just as they pop out of the machines.
Eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts while still warm is a memorable, if not painful, experience. The distinct and unique sensation that you will feel afterwards serves as a convenient and free tourist momento of this occassion.
If after 6 doughnuts you don't feel full, stop and wait 10 minutes. As the doughnuts finish baking within you, you suddenly get the feeling of being very, very full.

This is one of the nicest shopping centers I've ever been to. I liked it because it's different to other shoppings, mainly because you can do shopping and at the same time walk under the sun, and you may even get a suntan! Then, after a long walk, you can relax and sit by the sea to have a coffee or light lunch in one of the many restaurants and caffees by the sea. Denim clothes at GAP, Lingerie at Vanity Fair, Toys at the Disney Store. Prices from 10U$ up.
