Great Spot for business or pleasure

The Intercontinental West Miami has been my stay for more than one overnight connection through MIA. The hotel has a very attentive staff, excellent resturant, and superb club level service. The pool is quietly situated in the rear of the hotel and the rooms are comfortable. I'd recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure.
Unique Quality: The Armillary Grill offers a lavish breakfast buffet and à la carte menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Armillary Lounge stays on course with cocktails and light snacks. This hotel also offers a free houly airport shuttle 6AM- midnight, as well as a shuttle to local shopping. And, as with most of Miami, the overall lack of English makes ths spot feel like a vcation to Cuba!

We were en route from the UK to our Princess cruise ship and staying overnight in Miami.
The hotel public areas were fine although the courtyard became very overcrowded in the moring as we awaited our many coaches.
The evening meal was okay at the most ---not enough choice, poor wine list and uninterested service from the young staff.
Breakfast was excellent.
The en-suite room was not good. The bathroom was fine but the main room was pokey and rather claustrophobic.
Would I stay there out of choice? Yes ---but I wouldn't expect the 4* treatment.
Would I recommend it? If you have the choice go elsewhere! Breakast was good!
