any cruise super bowl combo package in miami?

by wonderme

Feb 7 2010 is Super Bowl time in Miami. I am thinking a cruise and super bowl party in Miami would be most wonderful. Does anyone know of such a combo package?

Thank you. I was thinking of a cruise plus a stay on the ship at Miami during the Super Bowl and actually going to it. I found at another travel site some one mention a smaller cruise ship 'Voyager' will be crusing to Bahamas 4 days then stay at Miami 3 days during Super Bowl. They include tickets to the SB and shuttle there. I will check it out.

Well, there are sevral of those cruises availble, so do not jump on the first one you find. Further research will reveal possible cruises that reflect your personal interests. Like a wine cruise that happens to take in the Super Bowl, or a team fan cruise, or a jazz fan cruise, and so on. Whichever you choose, you are bound to have a blast....d:o)

As someone who worked the cruise life for a number of years, I know that the ideal cruise for you is out there. Good luck.....d:o)

Travel Tips for Miami

Here we are: My first skyscraper!! Although probably not that high at all, but the highest I have ever seen until that day ;-))
Probably there are much higher buildings in downtown Miami, but this hotel complex looks quite amazing.

Parrot Jungle and Gardens

by seagoingJLW

This attraction, was located at 11000 SW 57th Avenue, and was home to macaws, mynah birds, cockatoos, parakeets, and peacocks.

It is now in the process of moving to Parrot Jungle Island off the MacArthur Causeway. Phone: 305-666-7834

Coconut Grove Arts Festival

by Homanded

Rated as one of the Nations premier outdoor arts festivals and bringing over 150,000 people into Miami to walk beautiful Coconut Grove's brick lined streets. You will have a chance to see and purchase works of art from local and other artists.
Great chance to sample local foods as well and wonderful fun for the kids.
Restaurants offer fine dining in the immediate area hoping to bring in clients for the day.
After strolling through the endless exhibits, sit down at one of the sidewalk cafes and have a drnk or a cold beer.
Shop at nearby Mayfair and let the world walk past you..........ahhhhhhhh...South Florida at it's finest!
Usually held in February when the days are cool and sunny!

It is held on McFarlane Road, South Bayshore Drive and Pan American Drive. In the heart of Coconut Grove

This is at 1653 South Bayshore...

by pulgaron

This is at 1653 South Bayshore Drive. This rock formation used to be under water years ago. This use to be the reef line. If you are travelling along SOuth Bayshore drive between downtown and Coconut Grove, the best places to see these formations is in front of houses from 15th avenue to approximately 20th Avenue. Good picture opportunity and a very over looked fact.
