A top-notch all suite Hotel !
Outstanding facility at an outstanding location. The only drawback would be the rooms (ie.#208) on the second floor directly over TGI Fridays which is located on street level. The thumping of music last until 4am making it totally impossible to sleep in this room. I would highly recommend this Hotel..especially when the rates drop below say $160.
Unique Quality: The suites are huge and very well furnished. The rooftop pool area is also quite nice.

We chose the Bentley Hotel based on the reviews that we read on Tripadvisor. I am happy to say that we were impressed. For the price (we got a Junior Suite for $169 by calling the hotel directly under their 'special'), it was a prefect location - away from the noise, but within walking distance from all the best spots in South Beach. We stayed here for 5 days for a conference and for the SOBE Food & Wine Festival, and it was a wonderful stay. The rooms are modern and clean. Our friends also stayed here for 4 days and loved their room. It's nice to have a kitchenette in the room to store and warm up leftovers. The rooftop seating and pool area was perhaps the best part of it all.
All in all, it was an excellent place to stay, location and price-wise. Only negative was that the window of our room was practically non-existent (very very small) and many of the rooms do not have ocean-side views. If you can overlook that, it's a great place for you.
Very pleasant stay

We just returned from two nights at the Bentley. We had a 1 bedroom suite with partial ocean view and terrace. Partial ocean view means the side of the building, but you could see the water if you sat on the terrace. Living Room was spacious, nicely decorated. Kitchen had all new full sized appliances, even side by side fridge w/ icemaker and dishwasher. Bedroom smaller, but comfortable -- white carpet needed cleaning, though. Nice bath. Pool area on roof pleasant; hardly saw anyone there. Staff very courteous. It was surprisingly quiet in the room considering there is a TGI Fridays at the street level on one side and a nightclub called Teasers on the other. Everything is in close walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.
Where is the ocean???

My friend and I stayed here in April. When he booked it, he was told our room was oceanside (which he paid dearly for). Well we were able to see the ocean, which was across the street. Our room was directly over TGIF's, so it was noisy. It was pretty but nowhere worth the money paid. A plus was, we were able to check in early. And the desk staff , who was on when we arrived, was so pleasant and helpful Very unlike the staff that cam after her.........

I just returned from a 2 night stay at the Bentley at 510 Ocean Dr, and was not nearly as impressed as others here at tripadvisor. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a one bedroom suite and I must say that the room was beautiful. It had brand new full size appliances which included a side by side fridge with ice maker and water, a dishwasher, and a fully untesiled kitchen. The living area was very spacious and well decorated, but the bedroom was so small that you could not open the drawers more than 6 inches without hitting the bed...rendering them useless. I also do not recommend using the pullout couch. We paid a substantial amount of money to have a pullout because we had 3 persons, and I believe a piece of plywood and a blanket would have been more comfortable (not joking).
Another word of caution is that there are 2 Bentley hotels in Miami, and we were under the impression that we were at the Bentley Beach since we were told that we were "Oceanside". Unfortunately we were not...you see, the Bentley beach is at the end of Ocean, away from the thumps of bass until 4 am, and the Bentley is sandwiched between a TGIFridays, and Teasers which is one of the most popular clubs on Ocean Dr. (Remember, cab rides are very cheap, and almost anywhere you stay on Ocean leaves you within walking distance to anything). I also do not suggest eating at the restaurant downstairs La Dea. We ordered $40 steaks medium well and got cold raw meat that we had to send back 4 times! to get cooked well. The waiter did comp us a bottle of wine for the hassell because he was extremely nice, as were all of the staff at the facility. In summary, it is very nice, but be sure of what you want before proceeding with booking.

When we arrived told our room was being cleaned, three hours later is was finally finished. Staff was charming but useless. Rooftop pool deck has 8 lounge chairs for the 40 room hotel, be prepared to lie on the ground. Our room (one bedroom suite w/ balcony) was quite nice. Told to come down to the front desk to get a pool towel, no one could bring them up (not really practical in my swimsuit). Called down to desk to order up the car from valet parking, told I had to go down to the street and talk to them myself. Overall the entire place does not look well maintained. The pool was dirty and not cleaned once in the two days we were there. The door to the mens room is completely rusted out. If you are expected a luxury experience, this place is not all they claim it to be.
