Just perfect
We had a great time in the wonderful Blue Moon Hotel in Miami Beach.
The location is just perfect and it's very quiet for South Beach! Most important: The rooms are very nice and the staff is so nice! Will come back sometimes

this hotel is fine for a long weekend but I would not want to saty much longer than that - The rooms are ok but very noisy - walls seem to be paper thin and the Foyer was noisy at all times of the day. They also hit you for $7 each per day cover charge - but this is meant to be for breakfast and healthy snack in the afternoon. The hotel is excellent location - but they do not have a car park so ypou have to park in a car park a bit away and pay about $15 a day for the privelige.
Unique Quality: Nice looking hotel with good location- if you are going to Miami beach - go to Barton G's for a meal - unique kind of place and the food is amazing

We stayed at the Blue Moon for a night after a cruise. What a great area! The hotel is beautiful--true to the Art Deco area of South Beach.
Two blocks from the beach, a beautiful part of the beach! Tons of restaraunts nearby, from cheap diners to expensive bistros, but all the restaurants are an experience. We are a young couple, so we wanted to hit some of the clubs, and the hotel is only two blocks from a ton of clubs too! Room was clean and, while not huge, was plenty big enough for the two of us. I'd definitely stay again!
Just returned from a three night stay at the Blue Moon and will happily return next year. South Beach is a place where every hotel looks great on paper, until you arrive and are handed a huge bill by not-so-friendly staff. Consider Blue Moon the exception! Not only is the location perfect but the staff is 100% helpful, agreeable and accommodating. We received early check-in and late check-out: all free of charge. We actually never took advantage of the restaurant or room service since so much is in walking distance. Sure there are bigger pools around but you pay $200 more a night. Can not say enough great things about this hotel!!!
A very charming small hotel, right near the beach. A block in from Ocean Drive, so no ocean view, but a lot less noise and crowds. My wife and I stayed 2 nights with my 23-year-old son. We requested a Junior Suite, which was described as one large room with a pull-out couch. On check-in, we were upgraded to a Full Suite, which is 2 connected rooms, at the same price. The rooms are small, but very clean and tasteful, with local art on the walls. There is some street noise, but it fades after a while -- actually, if you keep the AC on "Fan", you don't hear it. All in all, great for the price.
It's a scam, don't beleive in the pictures, maybe the new wing of the hotel it's elegant, the room was cheaply decorated ,this hotel it's expensive, dirty, the bathroom it's horrible with 25 years old fixtures(like in the worst south american hotels!)I would not recommend that anyone stay at this hotel and am very suprised by the good reviews,no breakfast included, only because they are located in collins ave, they think they're cool, seems that the majority of the hotels in that street and ocean drive are like this, definitively it's much better an holiday inn,so you know what you get.
stayed here 13th March - Saturday night. The room was lovely - really confortable and stylish, small but they'd used the space well. Pool is tiny, but fine for sunbathing and cooling off.Has a jacuzzi area in the pool that's also good.Staff were helpful and friendly - didn't eat or drink there so can't comment.Only downside (considering we paid $169 for the night) was that it's on Collins and it's so so noisy at night - literally car horns, people shouting and singing, cars revving engines, it's like nothing i've ever heard - AND we had rooms at the back of the hotel - I can't imagine what the rooms at the front of the hotel would be like!Having said that, it's South Beach, and nearly all the hotels are in noisy locations , so it's to be expected.I would stay here again, but definitely get a room at the back of the hotel!
This hotel is soooo nice. stayed for one week and will come back. rooms are nicely decorated and quiet. the location is perfect, very close to the beaches and ocean drive. staff is polite and attentive.
We stayed at the Blue Moon, in Miami and had a wonderful time, the location is PERFECT for the beach, the shops, and the restaurants.
Judging from the exteriors of the other hotels nearby we made the right choice and for the price you can't complain. The AC was loud but you can turn it off when ur in and cool the room when your out shopping, sunbathing or eating!! It seems for the price this kind of hotel in Miami comes along only once in a blue moon!!! :o)
We stayed at the Blue Moon for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week stay in Florida. This hotel is in a fantastic location, is very tastefully decorated and the staff are very friendly and helpful. One tip, if you don't like noise, request a room in the middle of the hotel. Those on the front (Collins Ave) are really noisy - doesn't abait 'till 6am!!!
Those at the back are noisy too. Middle ones are v quiet. AC is quite loud - but didn't really bother us. Storage space in some of the rooms is minimal, so be prepared to live out of your suitcase! Definitely recommend it!!!

Nice looking hotel with good location- if you are going to Miami beach - go to Barton G's for a meal - unique kind of place and the food is amazing
