Hi, I will be transitting to through Miami to Costa Rica, And decided to break journy for a 2-3 day. Can anyone recommend some good budget hotels ($50- $90), around Miami south beach area?? Or any other pleace not to far is ok as well. Any recommended places? I am travelling alone. I just want to make the best of my 3 days in Miami.

I suggest the Clay hotel 1438 Washington av in Sobe.
It is both a hostel and a hotel.
It is well located in the Latino area at 5 min walk from the beach.
I never stayd there but a friend of mine did that and was happy with this accomodation.

There are plenty of budget rooms in SoBe,(below 1200 block Collins) maybe not $50 but reasonable. Remember in SoBe you get what you pay for. My suggestion is to make sure at checkin that the simple things are ok. Such as does the a/c and t/v work. Also, check the room out immediately and make sure it is to your liking,you would NOT believe the excuses given to guests in SoBe. If you ask for nonsmoking then double check. The hotels on Ocean Drive are noisy and Expensive, stick to Collins
With so much to do in Miami and Miami Beach, and so much not to do, don't forget to stroll along the fantastic beaches.
While walking along you'll see just as many beautiful, strange and sweet jesus cover up people to entertain you.
But you'll also get a great view of the city and the lifeguard units.
And be prepared, some people do go topless so don't gawk at them. Walking with my wife, drinking a lemonade and taking in the sun and sights.

Comfy sandals
Clothes that breath. Linen works much better than cotton. Sunscreen, and more importantly after sun lotion or aloe vera. You can always buy this at a local drug store if necessary.
Some areas are more like Palm Beach, other feel more like Key West. This is one of the few areas of the world where condominiums sell from $50,000 to $5 million all within several blocks of each other. Houses range from $350,000 to $20 million all in the same zip code.
Sunday afternoons and evenings at Nikki Beach are very enjoyable. The first time I was there the Teepees freaked me out, but this place is a really nice, laid back spot to enjoy yoourself. I loved the sushi (Salmon was awesome) and the girls here are A+ for great conversation, and last time there were a few football players here enjoying the same atmosphere I was. Dress SoBe casual, be the trend and you'll fit in.
No cover charge or dress code. Bar venue with interesting interior; massage beds for people to sit (or lay down!) on, and large white curtain surrounding the bar. Tuesday are the best and busiest nights, it’s the ‘locals night’. Playing a mix of music from 80s and 90s with the odd house tune here and there. A good crowd, with mixed nationalities due to the Banana Hostel being just up the road None
