Miami during Thanksgiving?!
hey all
we're a bunch of grad students-who are not from the US, and wanted to soak up Miami's warm weather during thanksgiving week.
does anyone have any hotel recommendations on south beach? we've heard of the penguin n the carlton are are willing to spend about $150-170 a night (double room)
also, where do 20 somethings shop/eat/club for cheap?thanks!!!!:)

Have been there. We stayed at Coloney Hotel at ocean Drive. An old hotel with small rooms. The most picture taken hotel on South Beach. Price will be up to a 100 $. We stayed also at Fairwind hotel - 4 min. walk from the beach. A bigger hotel and more nice than Coloney. A little cheaper in price. South beach is a big party in night. Start round 8ph and stop 4-5-am. You dont need an expencive hotel here when you are here for fun and party since you aint gone be at your hotel room. We will stay at Fairwind hotel again in Nov.
