Miami Beach area for a 2 bedroom rental for 2 nights mid-Sept

by cjamesgo

Does anyone have any suggestions? South Beach or something close to there would be nice with a moderate price.

hi! ok so here's my 2 sense...South beach is a great place to spend your vacations. You get the beach, (beautiful white sand beach)There's plenty of restaurant to chose from and bars to drink and dance clubs to go get your groove on ;). You can take a walking tour along Ocean Drive or down Lincoln Road, where the beautiful people come out to play. So my advice is whether it's three in the morning or three in the afternoon, there is bound to be plenty to do. www.colorfulplaces.com will help you with travel information to south beach including places to stay. Good luck i hope you'll love the city as much as I do!!

Travel Tips for Miami Beach

Murano at Portofino

by Hexepatty

Murano at Portofino has 38 units overlooking the intracoastal. Constructed in 2002. Prices range from $350,000 to $3,500,000. We were in a 3 bed, 3.5 bath unit on the 28th Floor and it was FLAWLESS! Very nice place. Floor to Ceiling Glass windows and a terrace on BOTH sides of the unit, affording views as far South as Key Biscayne/Biscayne Bay on one side of the Condo, all the way to N Miami on the North Fronting side of the Condo! This is a view of the Murano at Portofino Pool, but we were only a 7 minute walk to S Beach...

Florida Marlins Baseball

by HotSpotJ

If you're staying in SoBe and the Marlins are in town, it might be worth the drive to relax a night and check out some Major League Baseball. Dolphins Stadium is about 25 minutes away (if 95 has mercy that evening) and is very easy to get in and out of. From SoBe drive to 95, hit exit 12, then the Turnpike takes you right to the Stadium. Tickets can be purchased ahead of the game or usually at gametime, the Marlins do not sell out like the Red Sox or Cubs. The tickets are fairly cheap ($10-$100) as well. Bring a glove if you're in the bleachers!

Got a late night itch??

by balisunshine about Deja Vu Love Boutique

Saturday night partying on the Beach?

Those hot women or hot men
gave you the itch that needs scratching?

If you need the kind of friend
that is water proof, remote controlled
and batery operated,
head over to the Deja Vu Love Boutique,
an upscale joint featuring
tastefully sensual items
like Karmasutra lotions,
candles, edible Peter Butter,
feathers and skimpy lingerie.

The really good stuff is stashed behind
the velvet rope, (of course),
where you'll find a long, curved wall of toys
from the Phaliz collection,
blown glass dildos that look like
works of art, porn star apporved gadgets,
and lower priced devices that
keep you pocket and other parts happy.

Shy types need not worry,
Deja Vu also has some of its products
available online for surreptitious purchases.

Have fun!!! What ever makes you happy!

Skip out on the South Beach...

by traveltom

Skip out on the South Beach scene...it's too expensive, and if you go there looking to feel comfortable with your surroundings and meet new people, don't think about it. Everyone tries to be better than the next person. GO TO COCONUT GROVE!!! This place is full of Awesome bars and clubs. DRESS UP ANYWHERE. Anything from double breasted suit to a silk shirt and dress pants

Get to Miami by Plane or car. ...

by seamandrew

Get to Miami by Plane or car. Either way is easy. Many people drive down I-95 and many more fly in (like me). Flights are relatively inexpensive.
Getting around is best done with a car. Be sure to rent one!
