What a great hotel and location, location, location!

Stayed at the Bentley Hotel 2 weeks ago, and what a great visit. The front desk staff could not have been more accomodating. Although they were overbooked they upgraded us, even though we had booked last minute at a deeply discounted rate. The rooms are unique and a nice change of pace from the standard hotel fare. The "boutique" charm of the hotel makes it comfortable and personal. We were also excited to learn that they are opening a 5 star version of this hotel, just a few blocks away and on the ocean, in May '04 called the Bentely Beach. Both are in a great location, close to all the action, but not in the chaos of it all. We are so glad to have 2 options in one of our favorite vacation spots when we return!
South Beach

Just returned from the Bentley. Very nice hotel with a European feel.
Great value for rooms, we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite and had great views of the Atlantic Ocean. On the corner of 5th and Ocean Drive, walking distance to everything in South Beach. Very pleasant.
Must Stay - Suite 204

If you are looking for a fantastic boutique hotel with a great Ocean Drive location - The Bentley is for you!
Stayed twice in Suite 204 and loved it. Extra bright studio with huge walk-in closet and balcony facing courtyard. Located on lobby level - no need for elevator.
A must stay!
Nice but trublesome

Nice hotel, VERY formal but I had some problems. They "lost" a day of my reservation and they did upgrade me to a better room after much to do at the front desk while checking in. The phone in my room did not work and after reporting it over 10 times to the desk nothing was done, they just kept telling me I was wrong. Room service was done on their schedule not yours, if you were not ready for the maids at 10:00am then you got nothing until 5pm. Somedays I got a newspaper at the door some not, no big deal but surprising at this level. My room was beatufil with a huge balcony and ocean view but the overall mannerism at the hotel was that I was "lucky" that they let me stay at their wonderful hotel. Lots of rules, for example no bathing suits in the lobby so if you want to go to the beach you have to change in the public toilets across the street. This attitude lead to the phone problem, the maid problem, the paper problem. You are "lucky" to be staying here so be happy with what you get and don't walk thru the lobby in a swimsuit (at a beach hotel, are they kidding) Very pricey, you have to take one elevator to get to the front desk and then a different elevator to get to your room (a pain), mediocre service with BIG attitude, lots of rules, dress code, reservation nightmare but a very nice room. Again very, very formal eurostyle and attitude type hotel and most guests seemed to match. Not really relaxing, would be good for a business trip but not a leisurely vacation, don't even consider bring kids here. Fantastic valet parking, fast easy.
Absolutely Wonderful!

I give this hotel five stars for excellence! I stayed at the Bentley over New Years Eve weekend. My maid of honor and I chose the Bentley to stay at for the weekend leading up to my wedding. it was the perfect choice- cozy, elegant, chic...AND not noisy!! That is a great plus considering that it was New Years Eve! The room was absolutley beautiful with top notch ammenities, cd player, t.v. beautiful marble floors...very soothing and elegant decor. It did not feel hotelish at all, which is what we were looking for- somewhere to relax and feel good before the wedding! It felt like a beautifully decorated studio apartment! We plan on going back next year for sure and would recommend the Bentley to anyone! By the way...rapper 'Lil Jon was staying there the same time I was!
