Unexpected Delight

What a pleasant surprise!! We expected an average experience and found a gem. Rooms had all amenities, flat screen TV, more than adequate storage space, delightful modern bathroon, great continental breakfast, and everything was super clean.
Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I were delighted with our entire stay.
We were greeted like celebrities upon check-in, the staff was so helpful, friendly and thoughtful I couldn't have been more pleased.
Our luxury room was wonderful, and the hotel atmosphere itself was gorgeous. The views are superb.
We ate at the Bambu Rest., outside overlooking the boats in the bay, and the lunch was so tasteful.
We really enjoyed our sunset cruise provided in the "Make a Memories" package,. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable weekend trip.
Thank you .
Overall Good Experience

We just returned from a week long stay at the Bayfront Inn on Fifth. Overall our experience was a good one. The hotel room was certainly clean and well appointed. The staff were accommodating and welcoming offering tips on the Naples area. The location of the hotel is definitely convenient to Fifth Avenue happenings and restaurants. It was great to walk at night. The marina bar is definitely a plus. The food is good and the bar area is comfortable and open looking right out onto the marina. Our only regrets with the hotel were the hot tub by the pool which was not really functional and appears to need upgrading. The plasma TV's in each room although very nice do not have remotes that work consistently. We tried to eat breakfast one morning in the hotel and since breakfast ended at 10:30 all food was removed from the buffet while we were still trying to finish eating. We probably would stay again and believe that this hotel has great potential. Give it a try!
Loved the Bayfront

After reading about many places to stay in Naples Fl. on Trip Advisor I decided to stay at Bayfront on Fifth. This hotel was a former Comfort Inn. Recent renovations have been completed. This is a wonderful place to stay. It is close enough yet away from the central part of Fifth Avenue. My husband and I were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. It is directly across the road from Tin City. There is a small pool and a bar overlooking the waterfront.
When we arrived our room wasn't ready as I had requested a quiet room. The front desk manager insisted we stay in a certain room for this reason. Was she ever correct! Our room, #301, was away from the street noise and looked out to the water. Lower odd number rooms are away from the street noise and face the water. The room had a king bed that was the best I have ever slept in for a hotel. The bathroom was small but adequate with a huge shower and glass sink.
Our only problem while there was a loud air conditioner that was fixed promptly at our request. Due to the wait for our rooms both my husband and I were given complimentary breakfast buffet for the 3 mornings we stayed. What a nice gesture! The breakfast was a continental during the week when we were there. It had a large variety for this sort of buffet.
This hotel deserves a 3 star in my opinion. Anything less would be unfortunate as this hotel strives to provide good service. The staff were all wonderful to us and really cared for our needs. Thank you Feranda and Noel for helping us check into the hotel and look out for us while guests.
Do yourself a favor next time you visit Naples and stay at Bayfront on Fifth! You won't be disapppointed.
Great little find

Very nice weekend getaway...not spectacular...but very, very nice, particularly for the price. We booked their Make a Memory package...and you simply can't beat that deal. Two nights in their "Luxury" room (relatively small, but very nicely finished and with a lovely view), also included a $60 food/drink voucher which we used for room service and bar drinks at their patio bar, two tickets on a sunset cruise (very nice and walking distance), buffet breakfast (probably the only bad part of the experience...breakfast food was not very good)...all for just $295 TOTAL. No hidden extras.
The location is good...not a beachfront resort, but within walking distance to Tin City and 5th Avenue.
The patio bar is nice, but those poor kids who work the bar/restaurant back there seemed overworked and exhausted. Otherwise, the counter people could not have been nicer and warmer.
We will certainly go back...it's such a short and inexpensive get-a-way from Ft. Lauderdale. Highly recommend this place.
No Way Is This a Five-Star Hotel!!!
by TripAdvisor Member mswagner
I am totally confused by the other travelers who have referred to this hotel as "definitely a five star". I almost wonder if they are getting it confused with the Inn on Fifth in Naples - a true five star hotel. I would consider this hotel to be comparable to a Courtyard by Marriott. It had average rooms, a small and rather tacky lobby, very average breakfast and only average service. I would not pay more than $100 a night for a stay here. The service in the "restuarant" (which rarely had customers eating food there, it was really more of a bar) was downright rude and inattentive. The location is good in that the hotel is in walking distance of Tin City and a longer walk to the shops and restaurants on Fifth. It is next door to the Bayfront Shopping Complex - which was very disappointing (very few shops, kept banker's hours, etc.). I probably would not return to this hotel. We stayed there for our anniversary based on other traveler's reviews and were just very very disappointed.
A Perfect Stay!

Together with my family I had the opportunity to visit during a week some exciting places on the east and south coast. We all agree, our (short) stay in Bayfront Inn was the best experience compared to the other hotels we stayed.
Top facilities, top service, polite and friendly staff. They made our stay unforgetable. To the hotel staff: please, keep it this way!
Great stylish hotel on the harbor
by TripAdvisor Member AgentQ
This is a well-located, stylish hotel on the waterfront. You wouldn't know it was a former Comfort Inn, as it has been remodeled and personalized to make it more of a boutique hotel. The Gulf-Caribbean decor adds a nice atmosphere. Check-in was great as well as the (standard) room we had overlooking the harbor. The furnishings and everything in the room was tastefully done. Even the bathroom was nice--modern and stylish. And the line of soaps/lotion/shampoo was an extra touch. Our sink drained really slowly, but other than that, it was a great 3 night stay. It's only a 5 minute walk to Tin City shops, and 10 minutes to 5th Avenue shops and restaurants. Parking was always available and easy. The pool was a little cold, not as inviting as I hoped, but we sat and had drinks by the pool and on the patio overlooking the water. There is a mini-shop and internet available by the front office. The rates were very reasonable. The Bayfront shops and restaurants were right out the door on the Italian-style street. This was a great location and a perfect place to stay!
Nice to be back....

Have used the same Hotel for some years on regular trips to Naples. It was getting tired and the new make over has made a big improvement. Only had a standard room but these have benefitted from re-decoration to a high standard, especially the bathrooms. If I have one criticism it is that a 40 inch flat screen T.V. in a standard hotel room is overkill! Looking forward to a return in September.
