boutique hotel

the trianon is a very nice boutique type hotel located in old naples. the trianon has an excellent downtown location that is within walking distance of tin city and the shops and nightlife of 5th ave. the hotel is located on 7th ave in a quiet residental neighborhood. the trianon has a small pool, bar, and serves breakfast. the rooms are nicely appointed and have new flat screen t.v's. a great hotel for the business traveler. reservations and rates 1-877-482-5228. like must hotels in southwest florida rates are much higher in the winter tourist season.

More about Trianon Old Naples

What a find!

by TripAdvisor Member wolverine-traveler

We were visiting friends who were staying at a different hotel on the water. We stumbled upon Trianon Old Naples while looking for a room since our friend's hotel was booked. What a find it was. It was much nicer than the place we couldn't get into. Nice neighborhood setting. It's more of a European style boutique hotel. Small. Refined. Nice lobby bar. Breakfast was included. In fact, it's run much like a B&B, but with all the hotel amenities. The location is perfect too. A block or two away from the main shopping/restaurant area. A short walk in the other direction and you're right on the water. The rate was very fair. If you're a member of AAA, be sure to ask for the AAA rate when you book. It will discount the room 10%. The Trianon Old Naples is highly-recommended for your stay in Naples. The room and marble bath were both oversized. Large separate shower. Beautiful pool. The only downside, and it was minor, was the view from our room. It looked out on the parking lot. If the view is important to you, ask for a room overlooking the pool or gardens.

Excellent hotel

We can confirm everything good that has already been said about this hotel. We booked this hotel on the recommendations wrote on this site, which were so accurate.
Front desk and entrance as you arrive is very impressive and luxurious. There was a slight problem with our booking, nothing to do with the hotel itself, but they sorted it out straight away. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite.
The room was exceptionally clean, very big, with a massive bathroom, two sinks and a large shower area.
Breakfast was very good too, lovely croissants in the morning, a change from the usual contintental breakfast you get in the chain hotels.
Super location, very close to both 5th Avenue (expensive) and Tin City (though not much to see there!), although the beach (def worth a visit) is a further walk, and advise driving to it if you have a car.
Naples is a lovely area and worth visiting if you are in Florida, and we would definately suggest you stay in the Trianon Old Naples.

Great Getaway

by TripAdvisor Member Evanston

My wife and I had a chance to extend our winter trip to Florida by five days. We wanted quiet, sun and access to the beach and restaurants. We like children (we have four) but we didn't particularly want a big resort with lots of families. Trianon was perfect. Spacious rooms, attentive staff, breakfast and a cocktail bar; ten to fifteen minute walk to the beach, ditto to restaurants and busy downtown Naples. They even loaned us beach chairs for our stay! Very comfortable and very relaxing; just what we wanted.

Great Hotel

Stayed for 4 nights on a 13 night tour of Florida. The first thing you notice is the impressive foyer and how helpful the staff are. It is a short walk to Tin City and 5th Avenue shops and restaurants. A fair walk to the Gulf beaches. A good breakfast was also included in the price. The rooms were large, clean and well maintained with one of the largest bathrooms we have seen with a separate shower cubicle and big thick towels. The pool is small (there are pool towels) but it was very warm and quite sheltered. We were recommended to a Chinese restaurant by the staff and the food was good and plentyful. If you like cheescake try the Cheescake Factory which recently opened next to Macy's, they have about 40 varieties. The Miromar outlets are about 30 minutes north but well worth the trip for excellent value clothes etc. Marco Island is also a good day out. Also reasonably close to the Everglades.
This hotels looks classy and does not disappoint. We will definitely stay here again and would have no problems in recommending it to anyone else.

Plush decor and ideal location

by TripAdvisor Member Pegman

We decided to stay here based on the reviews on this site, despite having read in certain guide books that the location may be overly quiet. We are certainly glad we did. The location is in fact perfect really- set on a picturesque residential street with little or no traffic- yet only a 5 minute stroll to 5th Avenue with all its hub of bars and restaurants. The service was polite yet inobtrusive and the rooms and facilities are all of a high standard. In a relatively expensive town, the Trianon represents great value and would recommend both a visit to Naples and a stay at this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel!

by TripAdvisor Member Cherrypickers

I booked this hotel based upon reviews on this site and was not disappointed. The decor is classy and staff were attentive. Our room was very clean, comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The pool area is small but private. I would think this would be a problem during busy periods but August is quiet and we only stopped for one night. The hotel is well situated - within close walking distance of Tin City and shops, restaurants etc. Yet it is quiet and peaceful. The beach is approx. 10 mins walk away and there are parking meters if you take the car. (Not expensive.) Drivers can certainly leave the car in the hotel car pak for the majority of the stay as everything is close I have been to Naples before and love the whole ambience of the place.

Fantastic Hotel

by TripAdvisor Member Janet75

Had a wonderful, relaxing week at Naples. Peter behind the desk is a mind of information and will give you lots of great advice on where to go and what to do. This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of 'Tin City' and 5th Avenue with all its lovely restaurants and shops. If you want a special place to eat try 'Chops', food is delicious and so were the Maui cocktails!! Little bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion. The hotel has a bar open until 11 at night and great for last orders where you can talk to Peter, Hans or Charlie about your day. Beautiful hotel and would definitely recommend it and go again. See you next year boys!!

Loved The Trianon

by TripAdvisor Member dolphinlover23

This was our second time at the Trianon, we only stayed 1 night last year and loved it so much decided to return this year for 3 nights.
This stay was even better than the first. The hotel is excellent, the room was large and so was the bathroom with everything you need.
Peter on the desk is so helpful and gave us lots of good information to make our stay wonderful, he is a treasure.
Even though the pool is small we did not find it overcrowded and enjoyed it, it is very private and quiet.
The only thing we found that we would change is that the bar stocks very limited drinks only beer and wine/port, for a nightcap it would be nice to have some spirits (liquour) say whiskey/gin etc, or maybe champagne for special occasions.
We will be back in the future for sure.
