Country Inn & Suites Ocala

I work as an IT Project Manager. It was a pleasure staying at this hotel.

I would say if offers you much more than what you pay for. A hotel where everything is correct from the time you enter it.

I liked their breakfast, rooms, hospitable services and amenities provided by them.

The reviews were great, so what we found was totally unexpected. After seeing their foyer, we decided we would perfer to see their rooms before we got our room. Their system was down. and so they could not even let us see a room -- they said they could not tell which were occupied. We decided not to take a chance on getting a bad room. As we were putting our luggage back into our car a lady walked up to us. She said we could be glad that we were not staying. The only reason she was staying was she had only had 3 hours sleep in the last 2 or 3 days. But she claimed the rooms were so filthy that she wouldn't even sit on the bed. It sounds like this particular hotel may be bad news. There are lots of other choices in the area. Paying a few more $$ are worth it.
We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott one night, and on a return trip we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express three nights. Bob at the desk at the Holiday Inn Express was great. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
