Great place for a layover
Due to our crappy travel agent, we were on an over booked flight home. SOOOOOO, we ended up reluctantly staying in a local airport hotel. Well imagine our surprise when we walked in to this really great atrium for a lobby, wow what an impression.
The front desk staff was helpful, funny and receptive to what seemed like our constant quesitions. The van driver was polite and able to get us to the flight on time. I must say, we were worried about the area as were shuttled in but we see the hotel has our best interest at heart with some good security. We met James,, a lovely young man who was really helpful and walked us to our room.
The bar downstairs had everythign we wanted and the menu was quite tasty.
All in all, better than I hoped for eh.

Nice hotel...
We stayed at this hotel for one night before our cruise out of Port Canaveral. There was complimentary airport shuttle, which was nice because we were expecting to have to pay for a taxi.
Upon arriving I informed the desk clerk we needed a taxi to the port and he arranged to have one pick us up at 11am. Be forewarned, it is cost $115 for that service, which was a shocker.
The room was nice and clean. Room service was prompt, but quite expensive. We had shrimp cocktail (there were 4 shrimp), eggrolls (2 eggrolls), and a beer. Total came out to almost $50!! Hmmm....never again!
Other than that, everything was ok for a one night stay.
