Terrific Place to Stay!!!

We booked this hotel the day before we were to arrive in Orlando. I did not have a chance to read any reviews on it. This place was terrific, I could not have picked a better place! The staff was friendly and the room was spotless!! Being a nurse, I am a germ-o-phobic, most hotels I stay at I feel the need to clean things before i let my children near them, not so during this stay! The bathroom was clean and bright, looked fairly new. The pool area is beautiful, unfortunately it was too cold outside for us to want to be in the pool. We were going to Sea World and it was literally 2 minutes down the road, hardly any traffic at all. I can not wait for our next visit to the Orlando area, there is no doubt where we will be staying

What a great hotel for it's price bracket. We booked because it was a Crown Plaza a name we knew and trusted. We were very pleased with everything about it, our room was spacious, nicely decorated and had everything you would expect. The public areas were clean, well appointed and welcoming. The staff we also very pleasant and helpfull, we had no reason to complain so no idea how they handle situations.. We ate in the hotel on two occassions and the food was great (for hotel food!). The pool was heated (this was Feb) and inviting (though no towels were provided). The hotel is at the bottom end or I. Drive beyond Sea World which meant it was quiet - which suited us. Very handy for all the major attractions and roads to the coast etc. The hotel also runs a shuttle to the Convention Centre on show days which saves $10 a day parking! We will definately stay here again - you can't give higher praise than that!
Crowne Plaza Resort - WOW!

My Husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for three nights from Feb 22nd - 25th, after having spent the previous three nights in less-than-wonderful hotels.
Staying at the CP was a breath of fresh air. We found a coupon for the hotel in one of the Travel Saver books we had picked up around town, so we got an amazing deal of $89/night plus an $8/night resort fee.
The hotel is in a newly developing part of International Drive, so it's AMAZINGLY quiet there, esp when relaxing outdoors by the pool. Enjoy the solitude while you can, esp in Florida!!
The hotel is either brand new, or newly renovated, it's hard to tell. The staff are very professional and friendly. While it seems to cater to a lot of business travellers and groups, it also does a fantastic job of catering to tourists, too.
They have the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever slept in. Free coffee and water in the rooms, along with a goodie bag on the bed when you arrive.
They also have internet in the rooms, you just need to borrow a cable from the front desk.
The pool area is gorgeous. It would be very fun for little kids as the shallow end simulates the slope of a beach. Nice tents all along the perimeter of the pool area so you can sit in the shade if it suits you. Very beautiful atmosphere and just so relaxing after a long day of theme parks or shopping or whatever you were up to.
We loved it at the CP and didn't want to leave. It's a beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms, common areas and grounds. We WILL go back should we find ourselves in Orlando again.
A Nice Hotel

I stayed here with my wife and young daughter and found it to be a very nice and well kept hotel.
The staff were very friendly and always ready to help.
The pool and deck facilities were nicely done and we enjoyed swiming in it.
Overall I would recomend this hotel.
Very Nice & Very Quiet Crowne Plaza

This is a really pretty property with a beautiful pool and classy comfortable rooms. The room decor is extremely tasteful with quality furniture and bedding.
The plus and/or minus, depending on the nature of your stay in Orlando, is the location of this great hotel. It is located on the south end of International Drive i.e., the quiet end. You can relax as you escape all of the traffic and noise of the Universal/Convention Center area of International Dr.
This hotel is definitely worth the stay.
Beautiful--a breath of fresh air

A breath of fresh air after our two best western hotel experiences in Florida. The hotel was comparable to a Hyatt or Ritz Carlton, at a Holiday Inn rate--$80/per night for a weekday night, and $140 per night for a Saturday night.
The furnishings were solid and luxurious. The pool area was beautiful and not crowded.
I reccomend this hotel wholeheartedly!
Lovely hotel

We chose to stay in the Crown Plaza for one night in April 2007 as we had booked to go to Seaworld during the day (this hotel was only a couple of minutes away from Seaworld). It was an oasis of calm set back from International drive. A big building with considerable parking. The rooms were large, clean and bright and complete with tv, mini fridge and a decent size en-suite. The pool and surrounding area were excellent and very clean, there was also a lovely jacuzzi which was separate to the pool. There were lots of sun loungers and also lots of sun shades. We did have a quick drink at the small hotel bar in the evening, a beer and a martini were around $20. We booked the hotel on line before we left UK and paid £60, which we felt was excellent value for a 4 star hotel.

I could find no fault at all with this hotel. its perfect, staff are very helpful, the rooms are modern, spotless and spacious. the 2 double beds are so comfy. the hotel was quite when we visited, you could always get a lounger by the pool, the pool is fantastic, spotless, with plenty of sun loungers. for those who dont hire a car there is an i-ride trolly stop directly outside the hotel so what more could you ask for. i would recomment this hotel 100%.
Fabulous Hotel

Brilliant Hotel at the quiet Southern End of I. Drive. Very Clean large rooms, nice pool, pleasant staff. Would not hesitate to stay here again, I would say that a car would be an advantage due to location, otherwise you cannot beat it. Book it now.

The crown has the best beds... This is a quite hotel for a great price. I give it 2 thumbs up... My fiance loves it here.
