The All Star Movies hotel is a fun themed family spot that offers great location at a great price. The ASM is located near the Animal Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World. The resort is themed to Disney movies including Toy Story, 101 Dalmations, Herbie the Love Bug, Fantasia, and the Mighty Ducks. We stayed in the Fantasia area on the Sorcerer Mickey side. This area is closest to the pool, food court, and bus stops. The hotel is clean, fun, and full of Disney details!
Unique Quality: The best reason to stay at this resort is the price. It's the best priced hotel on Disney property. I enjoy staying on property because of the free Disney transportation system and the proximity to the parks.

If you are planning a trip to Orlando which will mainly involve visting the theme parks and water parks, then this is the place for you. The 'All stars' resorts don't offer luxuary accomodation, but it is still of the high standard you would expect from Disney. It's not really the place to spend a few weeks relaxing by the pool, but that's not what Disney is all about is it! The rooms are very colourful and motel like, but have plenty of space. I would recommend a ground floor room some way away from the main reception area and swimming pool. This way you'll get peace and quiet, but you have to be prepared to walk to the food court. (Buy at 'free refill' cup and you can top it up as often as you like throughout your stay). There is plenty to do at the resort, and the different pools cater for adults and children alike.

We stayed in the Fantasia building which is near the pool, the food court, and the area where you catch the busses to other areas of the Disney resort. The room was very clean, was decorated in a movies theme, and was fairly basic as far as amenities go. We had two beds in the room, and it would comfortably fit 3 people, although 4 would be a bit cramped. Although, few people spend their vacation in their room. The buildings are decorated with larger than life objects such as Buzz Lightyear, the Fantasia wizard hat, and a big dalmation. There are two pools on this resort and frequent busses to all sorts of Disney attractions.
Unique Quality: There are many hotel rooms here and the property is quite spread out. This is adjacent to the All-Star Music and All-Star Sports properties.

The service and facilities and amenities at all-star Movies resort are awesome for value and the castmembers are very nice and sweet! the foodcourts, arcade, and Shops are great! I can't wait to stay in All-Star Movies for Dec 2011! I really hope to stay in the Fantasia theme is very close to the courtyard, and the bus stops as well!
Unique Quality: great views of the parking lot, courtyard and the pool!

This was my first time going to Disney World and at the time I took my 4yr old grandson. People kept telling me that he wouldn't remember a thing ....and man was they wrong, we had a great time from the time we step foot at the resort the people their were wonderful and pleasent to work with.
Our room was really for us early and that qwas GREAT in itself, it was clean, neat and in the middle of eah bed were towels rolled up to look like Mickey Mouse.
This was the first time that my grandson ever wanted his own bed.
wonderful place to go and very clean.
Unique Quality: The swimming pool was under construction at the time but they made it easy for you to go to another pool without all the problems. The staff was wonderful

If you are looking for a cheaper place on the Disney properties than I suggest the All-star Movies Resort. All the rooms are themed around different types of movies, and there are two pools, arcades, and a restaurant.
Located on 1991 West Buena Vista Drive, in Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.
A clean and large hotel with very loud decor in a movie theme. There were 2 large pools open until midnight with lifeguards there most of the time.
The food court and bar are open until midnight. The food is mostly fast food so for a evening meal it is best to go out but no need to dress up. We found it cheaper and better to get the free bus to Downtown Disney and then get a taxi to a reataurant compared with eating at Disney.
If you are staying at the block at the end of the resort It may be easier to get the free bus back from the parks to the Music resort as it is only across the service road.
The fact that you are waking up in Walt Disney World makes the price for this hotel worth it for me.
Even after the parks have closed, you are surrounded by the Disney magic. There are giant 3D characters on each section of the hotel.
Each room has a Disney Movies theme.
The pool fits in with the theme of the hotel - it has Michey Mouse from Fantasia whipping up the water!
The excellent service Disney is so well known for is carried on in this hotel.
You are always within reach of the parks as there is free transportation right through opening hours.
Disney Resorts/Laquinta(outside of Disney)
The Disney All Star resorts were around 79.00 a night when we stayed. We normally stay in one of the less expensive of the Disney Resorts. Right now they have several. any of the All Star Resorts are pretty decent Prices and not too far away from what some of the other resorts are charging outside of Disney. Plus if you are inside of Disney you get to use their transportation system, which is very nice.
The ALL Star Resorts are a good basic hotel. They are ll built around themes,Movie,sports, music etc....
The rooms are not to large with double beds and the basics..But if your spending your time in the room why did you come here...
The hotel offers a cafateria style place to eat and the food is very good. You must pay for your food, but you can bye a all you can drink cup for your week..
The hotel also has a gift shop where you can bye your trading pins and many other things.
The game room is large and can keep you busy for a while.
the pool is large and is very nice,great swiming later in the day... different designs and themes..

I need some Directions to Disney's All-Star Music! Can some one can help me!
From the 192 take World Drive north onto the Disney property. Take the first left onto the Osceola Parkway then firt left again south on West Buena Vista Drive. The three all star resorts are on your right hand side down this road.
