Theme Park Tickets
by gdudley
We are going to Orlando in September, can anyone tell me where we can get best price tickets for the theme parks (Disney, Sea World, Universal, etc) without going to a timeshare presentation. When we went before you could buy them cheaper at booths outside restaurants etc, I believe these were tickets which had unused days which people had sold back.

Hi Lindasued
Thanks for that good info', I will contact the site nearer our visit.
Is there a "combined" ticket available for, say, 3 Days Disney, 1 Day Universal, I day Seaworld, etc, or do we purchase them all individually?
Thanks
Gerald

combined tickets for seaworld and universal are available (flex tickets) but Disney don't combine with either of these companies.

Hi Lindasued - on the WDW site adult tickets are listed at $79 per day. On the site you mentioned the same tickets are listed for $89. Is that correct? We're planning a family reunion in Orlando next year and obviously would love to save some money. Thanks for any help.

Travel Tips for Orlando
Hidden Mickeys
by MandaJ320
Not a lot of people know about this, but my husband used to work at Disney World, and he pointed it out ot me...
All throughout Disney World, in the different rides, different theme parks, even the resorts, the designers have hidden little Mickey images in the details. If you keep an eye out, you'll find one for sure.
My personal favorite was at the resort we stayed at.... our floral bedspread had little vines in the shape of a mickey ears and head!!!!!!! you would never see it unless you were looking for it!!!!
there are tons of people out there that get way too serious about this kind of stuff... haha :-)
Visit Disney World and Epcot...

Visit Disney World and Epcot Center. I would have to say I have two fondest memories.....1) Landing in Florida for the first time to visit the University of Central Florida. 2) Flying the red eye just in time for my friend Heidi's wedding.
Civic Theatres of Central...
by cobrioc
Civic Theatres of Central Florida, Orlando's oldest theatre.
Three great theatres in the complex, family classics and children's program. Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival center at Loch Haven Park.
One of the most popular cultural events in Orlando and under the stars at Lake Eola's bandshell.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
by cobrioc
Discover the wonders of outer space here at the Kennedy Space Center. See a Moon Rock and get up close to Apollo capsules, rocket engines and a lunar module. Admission includes bus tours around the massive complex, with narrations about the various displays, and the IMAX Theater where you'll soar into the starry skies on a screen five stories high. Next, wander the Rocket Garden where you'll see eight massive rockets from past eras.
Packing List
by mrpoetryman
Suitcase and duffel bags. Don't forget a backpack type bag for the theme parks. Good walking shoes or waterproof sneakers are a must. A small folding umbrella easily fitting into a backpack or knapsack is also a good idea to protect you from the sun while standing on lines, or any kind of hat that you feel comfortable wearing. Sunscreen, calamine lotion, lip balm, and a pin for popping blisters. Also foot powder or spray to prevent blisters in the first place. We took a small 35 millimeter camera, but a small camcorder would also be good to have. Be careful of the sun, and always wear a hat.
