If you like adventure, don't miss the new updated Universal Studios. In 1993 there was only the one park with the faithful old Jaws, Beetlejuice, Indiana Jones, etc.,but now there's Islands of Adventure with the most hair-raising rollercoasters ever, as well as Universal City Walk, which is sort of like Pleasure Island, but so much better. Everything about Universal was pleasant and surprising, although for service and cleanliness, Disney is first prize. If you're not planning to spend much time in these parks, take time to see the Shamu Show at Sea World, and also Fantasmic at Disney. For an up-market shopping experience, visit Florida Mall - make sure you have lots of time, it's huge. Our hotel was fantastic - we just spent too little time there. We did an RCI timeshare exchange and stayed at Silver Lake Resort, which borders on the back fence of Disney's Animal Kingdom, so it was a quick trip along the highway to the main gates. We had a 2 bedroomed self-catering apartment, which was very luxurious, well-equipped and clean. The hotel has a massive swimming pool which was naturally warm in the hot climate we experienced. We were sorry to leave there having not had the time to truly experience the bliss of lying at that magnificent pool. I wish I had the facilities to include pictures to do justice to all of this.

Orlando is a queue line city....

Orlando is a queue line city. Latin Americans are not used to queue lines, so it is up to everyone help them understand -- not their fault, it is a cultural thing. You sometimes have to stand your ground. No one wants to 'fight for their right' while on vacation, but you may have to. Be prepared and it won't be as bad.
Please, please, please do not stop traffic on the toll lanes by asking the toll taker for directions. Once you're through the toll, pull over and examine your map or leave the highway entirely to get help. Also, if you're lost, do not drive under the speed limit while searching for your exit -- again, leave the road and get directions.
Try to remember the reason you came to Orlando -- TO HAVE FUN! There are LOTS of people who come to Orlando to have a good time. The crowds can be overwhelming (I live here and they get a little much). If you remember your manners, everyone will have a good time.
